The privilege to register my ships in The Gamotjingsraikh af Hweituzdas and for them to fly under civilian ensign. Freedom from slavery friendship with The Gamotjingsraikh af Hweituzdas. Seeing this half butchered attempt at trying to negotiate, the Raikh's representatives narrowed their eyes. The assumption that these negotiations were only between them and Hweituzdas alone created a bit of irritation amongst the representatives. 'We will reiterate our terms and we will add to them. As this meeting has already shown, your country is diplomatically weak and so we will be insisting on the following terms in full.' Sitting back again, the representativs considered whether or not it would be easier and simpler to cut losses and simply ask for a payment of Danegeld, rather than try to manage such an unruly protectorate, or Hauhkuno forbid, a vassal!

“Ah… very well then. If there are no objections, we can move on. Who would like to bring their next territorial claim before this body?”

As to prevent a conflict of interest with Sadalen, we have gave concessions to their merchants. These Islands also keep a good distance from the Gankands as we do not want conflict with you either Your Majesty."

Looking at the proposed claims, the Frijbuitonds Mikkels became extremely dark in mood. While the chaos of the previous point had been irritating, this was dangerous. These claims would give the City of Sheen a stranglehold on all the trade routes between the Raikh and his Land, forcing all but the most long ranged merchant ships to either stop in his ports and pay fees or else run the risk of being 'pirated' along the route. Realising his emotions were too involved in this, he told his compatriots of the issues and left it to them. Raising his hand and standing up, the Hebithdräkh Drake raised the issue: 'We can not accept such territorial claims, as they would allow for untold opportunities for smuggling and piracy by unscrupulous Sheenish merchants along major trade routes and near territories belong to us and others. At the very least, we would need assurances that our ships would be allowed to refuel and resupply in these ports without facing extortionate fees and that the waters would be properly patrolled.'

"Of Course, Hebithdräkh Drake, completely fair and reasonable worries, but do not fear as I have already promised your merchants the freedom to stop at any ports we make in these lands for 1 day with no charge, and any ship flying your flag would not be required to pay the usual tolls we would ask, at least in the waters of these territories. There is nothing to worry about as to Piracy, as our merchants know that we do not want war with Sadalen, in return, you would allow us free access to the ports of Tanysira."

The Imperium Divinium has no issue with your claims as they stand now. And the benefits of having another nation so inclined toward commerce nearby may prove most fruitful!”

Sensing a slight dip in the discussions and having received reports of mass military movements in the far east, in the state of Rodina, the Hauhkuno felt it was now best for him to bring up the issue of the spreading Red Terror. As they were far off and in an unimportant part of the world, declaring war was out of the question, but formally declaring opposition to their perverse agenda and in such an international setting could very well harm them on the world stage and stunt their 'world revolution'.
Standing up and looking around the table, the Hauhkuno began to speak:
'There are many people in the world who really do not understand, or claim not to understand, what the great issue is between the traditional order of the world and the modernist world. Let them go to Rodina… There are some who say that communism is the wave of the future. Let them go to Rodina… And there are even a few who say that it is true that communism is an evil system, but it permits us to make progress to a kinder and more equal society. Let ija fra Rodinja koman— let them go to Rodina!' He slammed his fist firmly into the table.
'Life has many difficulties, and society is not perfect,' he stated, 'but we have never had to put a wall up to keep our people in.'
He had in fact had to try very hard to keep many dissidents out of his realm.
'Prosperity is indivisible from stability and tradition, and when one man rises above his station, all suffer for it. When all think they are too great for their lots in life, then we can look forward to that day when this nation is joined with those lost to the dusts of time and crumbled beneath the waves, never a-more to rise up again. We can look forward to the day when man turns against man, for he thinks it unfair for others to have more than him, and for all to either live filthily in the mud of equality or die for the sin of providing for better future.'
He paused a moment, looking around to see if anyone would challenge him, but so far everyone held their peace.
'I for one do not wish to see these things come to pass, and say that these communists are no better than the Jergtrau (Georgist) menace that we have only so recently fought in our Raikh. As such, I declare that no man of the Raikh shall be a friend to the communist and that all actions taken to discomfort them are to be applauded, and ask that others stand up and be counted and show the world that they too shall suffer not the communist to spread its vile message of destruction.'
He had done it and without any interruption, one final look around and a quick nod, and he confirmed to himself it was done. 'I thank you all for your time.' He sat back down.

He had done it and without any interruption, one final look around and a quick nod, and he confirmed to himself it was done. 'I thank you all for your time.' He sat back down. Fedir was taken back by the shock of this sudden outburst. He was no trained diplomat, and he was only a somewhat educated man, but he was a firm believer in the cause of Rodina, and surrounded by these so called prestigious people does one of his fathers sayings come to mind: A pig has its own nature; no one can take that away from him, it can’t be changed, why blame the poor thing? "Sir, the red revolution in Rodina is no threat to the establishment of you're fine nations and traditions, the red revolution is an alternative way of living. We the people believe that communism and peace is what one day will rule the world, and we believe that all your nations in time will see to Rodina for partnership and peace. The General Secretary Ivan Koldan does not seek war or conflict with the world on behalf of a world revolution. He only seek to make communism work in Rodina so the rest of the world can see our success and then follow" He takes a small break just to drink a little water before going on: "My father always said ;Today’s pig is tomorrows bacon. And that is where Rodina is today. We are the pig gathering up the pieces of an old corrupt Empire and becoming the bacon that we all desire." Fedir stand up before going on. "But you can't feed your family if the pigs run away! And if the pig run away, then we need to bring it back to the fold! And yes, sometimes you need a fence to keep your family and pigs safe! Especially when the wolf stalk just outside of reach. And if the pigs are in danger, then we must protect it, even with force if we need to! And that is where we stand in the east. People of the former Empire of Ridna that supported the cause are trapped in rebel provinces and regions that had been part of Rodina for centuries, regions that now still is in open revolt and threatening the stability of Rodina. We the People's Republic of Rodina are the successor state of the Empire of Rodina, and we will not abandon our brothers and sisters. You might call it military aggression we call it bringing stability back to our wounded land!" Fedir sit back down once he realize he was starting to get a little too excited and makes a final statement. "The issue in the east is an internal affairs issue of Rodina, not one of conquest, nor one of imperialism."

"Gentlemen, I do believe both of you should take a second to breathe. After all, I've barely even heard of communism outside of just now, but time will tell if Rodina will thrive under communism or not. In the mean time, as we were talking about expansions and whatnot before, Grand Maren would like to also do some expanding, including the two islands to our south that Sheen and Grand Maren had discussed privately, as well as a 40 square mile purchase from our neighbors across the strait to the main continent. We wish to have this area so that way we can build a port city as well as train connections running throughout the continent as a whole. The continental railroad could prove quite beneficial for economic reasons to all countries on the line, be they in the DOC or not. The former is has a chance of happening, as we are awaiting the peoples of that island to tell us if they'd want to join the Duchy of Alycia and by extension Grand Maren, and the latter has already been talked about with Grand Maren's neighbor, and we are simply waiting to hear if you would be interested in building such a railroad, my good sirs and madams." Lady Iris said, addressing mainly those from countries on the continent where they stood, like those from Sheen or from the Divinium.
