A Treaty To Ensure Proper Representation and Avoid Vagueness In International Agreements
The continued development and expansion of both territory and international treaties regarding the conducts of nation-states has accelerated substantially in these past years, and in the interests of limiting international conflict, multiple binding treaties, such as the Saint Helena Accords and The Treaty Of Morthal have been signed and ratified by numerous great powers. However, the fundamental issue of these treaties is thus: The Technocratic Confederation Of Dunwik was not given either invitation to negotiation with these treaties, and in no point in either of them is this nation mentioned. We have been given no chance to represent ourselves at the negotiation table and as such both treaties were essentially manufactured without our consent.
As multiple entities have been absent from the manufacture of these treaties and unable to represent themselves, they should be exempt, but international pressures to sign are great. The potential for abuse of this system is too high for the Technocratic Confederation to ignore, and so we propose in fairness the following clause to be attached to all international treaties, both retroactively and henceforth.
Should it come to light that any independent nation state be excluded from the signing of a globally binding treaty (1), then they have the right to request a second round of negotiations with a representative for them present, rather than suffer the indignation of signing a treaty without consenting to it.
1: A globally binding treaty is a treaty that involves all or the majority of the independent nations of the world. It does not include exclusive trade agreements with a small group of nations.
