The Department of Faith
Wakoku has recently established the department of faith to organize the Shinto faith into something more efficient and concrete, While there isn’t a specific ritual or requirement to become a shintoist, To become a shinto priest is another question, Depending on the region and what Kami they worship the requirement for becoming a priest is much more easier than others, due to this, and some other myriad of reasons the department of faith will be organized into a collective manner to standardize the quality of priests and religious figures.
In addition, To exchange and compare shinto to other faiths and beliefs, and depending on what ideas and practices we should adopt or compare how much the foreign religion is different from ours.

Sadalen and religion
The department of faith has contacted Sadalens government and has asked for an exchange of religious figures to learn about each other’s religion, to compare differences and to exchange ideas about “kami” and other nuances that should be interesting to compare with each other.

A crack team of priests, witches, witch-doctors, diviners, and holy warriors was assembled. At their fore of this great expedition was Idneae Aðulfsdauhtar, the daughter of an Aerali'i priestess and priest of Haale, she was thought to be most suited to keeping the peace between the various cults due to her mixed religion. She was tasked with mediating all disputes, but primarily those between the two Aerali'i and the rest.
The mission was simple, go to a foreign land, learn everything possible about their gods and magics, and bring back as much as possible. Conversion being acceptable, but a tertiary objective at best. With this in mind, the party was dispatched by ship to the far west to see what could be found out.
