Concerning: Diplomatic Relations with Moderal
Given the unique relationship The Imperium Divinium and the Empire of Moderal share, by virtue of their geographic closeness and similar position on the matters of trade and colonial endeavors, the Divinian government has seen fit to propose the opening of formal diplomatic relations between our two Sovereign nations. To that end, the Imperium Divinium suggests the below listed proposals:
That the formal establishment of ambassadors be recognized between the two nations. As is tradition, a foreign diplomat from Moderal will be established as a formal member of Her Ephemeral Majesties court, and shall travel with the court wherever it is held. They shall be provided apartments within the imperial household for as long as they remain a recognized ambassador, with travel and lodging costs paid by the Divinian Government. An ambassador from the Imperium Divinium shall be established in Moderal according to her legislation.
That the establishment of consulates shall also be allowed between our two nations to facilitate the needs of citizens and economic interests between our two nations. Appropriate accommodations for consulates have already been established in the Divinian Cities of Marcum, Rigel, Vernalport, and St. Helena.
That our two nations exchange permanent military observers with one another, in so long as our two nations remain in a state of peace.
That the Empire of Moderal recognize a Papal Nuncio of the Petrine Dominions as an honorary ambassador. Although the Petrine Dominions are a protectorate of the Imperium Divinium, the interest of members of the Catholic faith residing in other nations offers said body a unique position in the international community.
