With the return of peace to the world, so Handlingmörei Flutt was now left adrift without much to do. The east being in a state of chaos with the increasing disarray of the Moderali (which now threatened to turn into a civil war), the Imperium having lost its ruler and now being somewhat more strange than they were already, and the Magdali being too self-absorbed to be a threat, the Flutt was now left to their own devices.
Deciding that enough was enough, the Flutt set forth and sailed around the dark southern continent after hearing about a country along that coast of semi-civilised barbarians, originally colonists from another land. After sailing for a few days and coming along the coast, they were able to find signs of civilisation showing them that they were on the right path.
Finding a large port, the Flutt fired off a salute.

The DOC radio operator aboard the Mandatum reeled back at the unexpected blast of messages coming in. The ship had been set on a rather standard voyage from Tanysira to the Sheenish Southern Islands, a sea lane not too often traveled. He had not expected much in the way of contact, let alone the flurry of conversation that was now backlogged. He scribbled quickly, trying to make heads or tails of the interaction. Enclave? He’d assume the higher up’s knew more about the senders, who he could not identify.
The messages were recorded as best he could, and passed along to the bridge. A short time later, he received orders to contact the Enclave about the potential of trade and, if they were found agreeable, opening diplomatic relations with the Empire back on Placidia.

Receiving urgent communications just as they arrived along the coast of this foreign land, the fleet was forced to return to port just as they saw local ships trying to communicate with them, but a small collier was left behind and some officers. The collier loaded the fleet's ships up with its coal and was then made to play host to the gifts that the ships had been carrying, though they were not able to fit them all on. Great lengths of carved and uncarved ivory, figures of beautifully carved and painted stones with gold and silver decorations and clothes of fine silk, books of fine stories, instruments of wonderful sounds, and cloths of good qualities were all packed aboard carefully.
Carefully and with good humour, the collier sailed towards the foreign ships and made signals to them, but it was of no real use. The natives were ignorant of the Raikh's languages and they spoke a degradated patois possibly related to the language of the Tholes, going by the sound of their radio broadcasts. So as to not spook them, the band aboard the collier was ordered to play music and wreaths were quickly attached to the sides of the ship.
