The city of Latium had been crammed to the gunnels in preparation for the Triumph of the Second Coalition. The remaining Praetorian Guards, cloaked in white and gold, stood at the pomerium of the city, ready to accept each triumphator and their forces in for the procession, which would end at the Castrum Stellarum, the newly erected meeting place for the Latin League.
Divinian Forces, their captured Asderaordians and looted goods in tow, were already gathered at the entry arch. Councilor Coltain would act as triumphator for the Divinian forces, and he stood proud but bemused in his Tyrian garments and Laurel wreath. He was a military man through and through, and although the honor was indeed great, the thought of being away from the front in Estraria troubled him. The ancient garb was not uncomfortable, but put him out of his element: especially in contrast to the other triumphators, who would receive their respective honors after the procession. Despite his personal distaste, the cheering crowds sang their praises, waiting enraptured to see the triumphant soldiers and their fearless leaders.

The Moderelai procession disembarked from the train cautiously, personal family guards quickly moved out of the cars and into a cordon around the entrance scanning the area around the train and the train itself for any hidden would be assassins. After the area had been secured most of the nobles disembarked the train, each wearing the customary black uniforms with their silver buckles glinting in the sun. They too took up a loose cordon around the entrance and watched the door until the final figures disembarked. These people were also wearing the customary black uniforms, however with a slight difference. Instead of the coloured chord that denoted which family they were from, they were wearing a coloured sash across their chest. After taking stock of the situation, each gave the order for the family force to form up and join a single column with the family heads at the front. After the column was formed, it was manoeuvred in between two large columns of soldiers from the Razboi and Lupta family holdings before the entire procession marched up to the decadent promerium.

The Stenbaugs Wardjen had been one of the regiments chosen to represent the Raikh in this affair. Despite their name, the regiment had a stronger mountaineering tradition than most, and as such the men were dressed rather nicely in their green coats and mantles, with red for collars and sleeves, with highlights along the edges of their coats, mantels, and hats. Rather than wear helmets they chose instead to take on wide brimmed hats, with a unit badge used to cock up the right side and large feathers of varying colours and species placed on the inside of the fold for decoration. A great departure from the more famous image of Kregjen in blue uniforms and plumed helmets, but one that worked well for them. As the unit made its way towards the city with some prisoners in tow, the men chose to relax a tad. The drummers beat out a pace, but other than that, there was no music being played and the men took to walking more normally rather than marching. Conversations started up between the ranks as they went, not too bothered by the fact that they were likely being watched by nosy locals coming to see the foreign soldiers. Towards the front of the formation, the unit's commander and his second in command were deep in conversation with regards to the finer points of protocol in such a situation as theirs. Halb Fruma: 'I'm telling you, I don't need to be here! Riding this blooming horse is giving me ball-ache-itis and the medico'll testify that it is a real condition if you let me booze'im up enough...' Fruma: 'What? And let me suffer up here all alone, without one of my Halbfrumen? Surely not! Besides, you could've shot yourself in the foot if you really wanted to avoid facing the world with me.' H.F.: 'Yes, well... I should probably give my poor foot some rest. He'd been getting stepped on all night by those girls, beautiful an' dusky girls, we danced with! Shame they couldn't do the Polka.' F.: 'I couldn't understand a word between them... Could you?' H.F.: 'Who needs words when you've got that electro-magnetism going on?' H.F.: '... Although, she did slap me rather fierce like when I started chasing up her things...' F.: 'Truly, a wise woman.' As the forces approached the beginnings of the start, the Fruma stopped his conversation, turned in his saddle, and bellowed out as loud as any could hear. F.: 'Right, cut the chatter! Band, start beating out the Hauhkuno's march on my command! Regiment, forward march!' With that the band started playing the familiar medley of the Lockmarsch that prefaced the start of any other piece of music. The ranks quietened down and all along the line of five-thousand and five-hundred, the men, be they mounted or afoot, started switching over from walking to march step. With the Lockmarsch finished, the band began playing Unter dem Doppeladler as commanded. The men were announced by the gaiety and bombastic nature of their music, unmatched in honour and pride. As they started passing the adoring crowds of the local population, a strong sense of superiority started to swell up in their hearts. Be it at home or abroad, the Raikh and the Raikhsharjis were now feared and adored in what appeared to be equal measures and it was all thanks to the efforts of these men and men like them.

Third to arrive to Laitum Novum were the Magdali. The Audácia flew overhead before the soldiers, decorated front to back in Magdali regalia. The Dirigible's crew launched pamphlets from the dirigible, that read as follows: "Atention! Form ranks around the Empress!" Said General de Sousa. With orders issued, the RAF soldiers present formed ranks around the Empress. The Magdali had sent for this triumph the Hunter's 1st Bridage (The Empress' royal guard), the Marine's 23rd Regiment, who saw the most casualties inflicted on the enemy during the war, and the Infantry's 10th Regiment. The Hunter's 1st made two files around the Empress, who was dressed in her RAF uniform, astride a white stallion. The Marines followed behind the Hunters, and the Infantrymen behind that. "And... March!"
Each Regimental band played their own marches in turns, until they reached the Castrum Stellarum. Isabel nodded and waved at the people while the little procession marched on.
When the procession of soldiers finally reached the Castrum Stellarum, Isabel dismounted her horse, and made her way up the stairs to meet the Divinan representatives. The Three bands together first played the Magdali anthem, then the anthem of the Latin League. To finish off, they played a song composed specifically to commemorate this triumph.

Next up were the Sheenishmen who had fought against Asderaordian terrorism, with the Marine Corps leading the Army that was sent to reinforce them. "Attention! Forward March!" The Marine Corps Band conductor lead the way and kept his band in time as they played Naval March of the Association.
Following them was the Army's bands, who came playing great bagpipes rather than the Brass of their Naval counterparts. Each two batallions had it's own band and played it's own march.

Latium Novum was indeed a bit of a patchwork city for now, but great care had been taken to ensure as much of the aesthetic of the city was up to snuff. As many buildings as possible were put up during the later reforms of the empress, reflecting the old classical style, while the more modern buildings had been stuccoed over and painted in reliefs, reflecting myths of the old pantheon, and conquests from Divinian history. Close to the Castrum Stellarum were reliefs of more modern events: including one of Catherine and her son, depicted as martyrs, as well as the destruction of the Duomish airships.
As each army crossed the pomerium, crowds thundered, cheering and saluting. Women and men ran into the streets in a show of jubilation, showering gifts and affection upon the troops. None were so loud as those for Isabel, who received cries of “Ave Imperatrix Magdalenum” as she passed.
When the triumphators finally made their way up the stairs to the dais at the end of the parade, four Divinian delegates stood to honor them. Each had drawn straws, determining who they would crown, and were now ready to make their declarations. First was Anthiese, towering over the Moderali. She presented a cloak of purple and gold to cloathe him, as well as a camp crown with gold and wooden palisades upon it, taken from the Moderali field of battle. “For your remarkable service in the field of battle, and in honor of those who lost their lives in service of justice” she boomed. She then stood to the side, accepting the Oak Crown and cloak for the Sadalers from Duke Estrana, “For the meritorious service of the Sadalers in securing stability and peace in Divinium during this period of instability”. Next, the naval crown was presented to Sheen by the former Empress Consort Ethlynn, for their service in securing Southern Duom. Finally, the Grass crown, with cereals of beaten gold and flowers of pearl, was presented to Empress Isabel, “for unwavering service to Divinium and the Latin League in her darkest hour”. With that, troops were more or less dismissed to engage in festivities as they saw fit. Great expense was paid by the crown in securing food and drink from all corners of the globe, as well as dancing, duels, athletic competitions, and of course gladiatorial games. Though the Praetorians and Vernal Priests were expected to perform policing actions to ensure the city did not burn, they were well aware that chaos was indeed part of a triumph, and as such ignored much of the etiquette expected in Divinium. For one day, public decency was to be overlooked in the name of celebration. While men and women ran off, a final gun salute was offered as the Divinian War banner was lowered and the Civil flag raised in her place, indicating a return to peace and the selection of a new emperor.

As the Moderelai triumphator ascended to the dias, furious whipering broke out amongst the remaining heads of family standing with the army. These whispers grew more angry as time went on and by the time Isabela was crowned a small silent scuffle had broken out. The family heads managed to keep it relatively low key during the fighting, however if anyone were to look after the army and the heads had broken away they would see two bodies cooling on the street, dressed in the clothes of the oligarchal families of Moderal.

Although sending a parade-army to the Triumph of the Second Coalition was deemed inappropriate by the government, it was necessary to have some form of presence. After all, the event was for the entire coalition, and it would be a good time to collect information concerning global politics and foreign nations.
Therefore, a team of diplomats supported by linguists, insectologists, biologists, geologists, and other intellectuals was put together. In addition to providing a modest Ryukyuan presence at the triumph, other diplomatic actions would be made possible.
Thusly, the 20-some team of experts were dropped off at Latium.
While in Latium, they were to attend the triumph as spectators, explore the city, and respond to any Divinian summons that may be given.

With the main ceremony over, General de Sousa glanced at the Empress. With a smile, she nodded. "Bring in the bulls!" Pulled by the soldiers, a cart were brought into the Coliseum. The fighters were readied, and the band rose to the stands are picked a spot. "Make way!" They cried, to no avail. The trumpeter played the initial salute, and the bull was off! The bullfights began in earnest. Some of the soldiers were bullfighters by trade, so they made sure to show their prowess to the onlooking Divinans. As far as things go, it was a pretty good set of bullfights, given that they weren't at home.
While it was not planned, some of the members of the army bands formed a makeshift band to play the traditional bullfighting tunes.
