The Southern Islands had previously been under the joint control of the Duomish and Sheenish forces. Following the Declaration of war by the Sheenish, the Duomish Citizens on these islands were given orders to begin a Guerilla war on the islands targeting the Fuel stores on the island to hamper the Sheenish movements.
During the night the groups stuck silently completely bypassing the guards and destroying the fuel stores in a matter of minutes before slinking back to the jungles now silhouetted by the giant fuel pyres behind them. The sheenish guards were too shocked to give chase just running for their lives

A month after the attacks, the first Sheenish enforcements arrived, 7500 men arrived on the smallest of the 3 Islands, reinforcing the standing garrison and bringing with them further supplies to help with the upcoming offensive. With a numbers advantage, any further attacks would then be more easily dealt with. A garrison of 1500, with searchlights installed to help with night time defense, while the remaining 6750 went to comb the rural landscape for any resistance. Those who would surrender would be spared and held in the Gaol until further reinforments could bring prison ships to take them somewhere more official.  |

Camps were set up, with 560 Asderaordians quickly rounded up and placed under guard, with others being searched for. Food for the Asderaordians was rationed to make sure that famine would not befell any Sheenish troops as food supplies were short. Later, the remaining Asderaordians offered surrender if they were allowed to continue living in peace, once the war was over. This lead to 440 more in the first camp, a second camp being set up of 1000 more, and 5000 in a third camp.
