From: The desk of Rector Marcello Caetano of the Magalhães University To: Whomever it may concern On behalf of the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Higher Education, and Her Royal Majesty, the universities of the United Kingdom of Magdalenum invite all the powers of the world to the City of Castelo Real for discussion on a treaty regarding systems of measurement.
As the world grows more connected, it is imperative we define common practices for conversions. While this may extend to other domains, such as currency and linguistics, it is also of utmost importance proper conversions between systems of measurement be established. To this end, we humbly propose that the Magdali metric system, based on the natural world, be used as a reference point when converting from one system to another. Further details will be discussed in the meeting, and the proposal will be altered as the discussion sees fit.
Best regards,
The Magdali Institute of Natural Sciences

Dear Rector,
We hope you are doing well.
On behalf of the Raikhsleidandskapiz and its ministries for trade and education, we would be more than happy to attend this event. Ahead of our arrival, we will naturally enclose within this letter our measurements in full. With regards to measurements of weight and fluid, they are the identical to those of the Sheenish. You will find that our mile is 1.600 of your metros whilst yours is naturally only 1.500 metros. This should serve sufficiently to provide a point of reference between our standards.
We look forward to meeting with you.
Yours,
Hebiðdräkh af Lisnojaning, Ronald Yerkes
