The mobilization is complete. The troops are arrayed at the Port of Angra, marches are played, people cheer. The RAF is off to Rodina! "Glory to Magdalenum!" the people chant. With the festivities done, the troops board the vessels and set sail to Rodina.
The RAF intelligence, on the other hand, have already been hard at work. The port town of Omsk had agreed to let the troops in, but hostile groups had since taken the city. The civilians were told to flee. When the Royal Navy arrived, hostile artillery batteries fired. Mild damage was taken, but before the batteries could load another salvo, the Navy responded. The city took heavy damage in the attack. After the artillery batteries were destroyed, the troops landed and occupied what remained of the city. Small pockets of resistance remained, but the city was fully occupied, for the most part.
For time time being, Omsk has become the Base of Operations for the RAF in Rodina. whatever ships took damage in the attack have been moored at the harbor for routine repairs, and scouts have begun to do basic reconnaissance. As far as RAF intelligence is aware, the land has divided into three factions: The RAF has landed in Nationalist territory, there are Monarchists to the East, and the Remnants of the People's Republic to the Northeast.

Efforts have been made to establish contact with the Monarchists. They were initially skeptical of Magdalenum's intentions, but they soon realized that they would be an invaluable ally in the war. The Monarchists agreed to an alliance. A joint Monarchist-Magdali force would march on the People's Republic Capital, after the RAF was done with the Nationalists. For now, the RAF began expanding in all directions, taking whatever towns surrounded Omsk, and digging in for the Winter. Gods willing, by spring they'd have a fully fortified position, and the means with which to take the Nationalist Capital of Rodingrad.
The Monarchists, for their part, are recovering from a huge blow dealt by the Nationalists. Since they're now busy with fighting the much larger and much more concerning threat that is Magdalenum, the Monarchists have time to breathe a bit of fresh air in. Long oppressed by the People's Republic, the old Rodinan Religion was lost to the ages. Cobbling together what snippets of information about it were still known, the reformed Rodinan Church now crowned the leader of the Monarchists, Mikhail Semenov, as their new Tzar. This move, though not as impactful as expected, did benefit the Monarchists. Seeing a leader that represented Rodina, and a desire for Rodinan reunification, plenty of soldiers from both the People's Republic and the Nationalists began joining the Monarchist cause.

The Nationalist leadership was in taters. The proclamation of a new Tzar had a few doubting their allegiance already, and sabotage runs done by the RAFIA had the rest itching for an attack. With a little push from RAFIA agents, the Nationalists devolved into infighting. Just like that, the RAF steamrolled through the rest of Nationalist territory, without having to winter at Omsk. Seeing what was happening down South, the People's Republic amped up the spy hunts. This though, backfired horribly. Mass desertion to the Monarchist side soon followed, and those who remained were in active defiance against their state. The Republic was in no condition to fight the battle that was about to fall upon them, so they saw only one option. A surrender was declared, and the members of Government were taken hostage by the Tzar. For now, it seemed Rodina could finally breathe a sigh of relief, as RAF and Rodinan Monarchist soldiers marched peacefully on the warn torn Capital.
A period of heavy reconstruction was now ahead of the Tzar and his Government, and they saw fit to ask their new ally for help, one last time. Magdal Afonsus accepted, under these conditions: 1.- Rodina was to adopt a Magdali-style Government, with a Parliament dividing power with the Tzar; 2.- The Rodinan Army, after being given three years to restructure and rebuild itself, was to serve the RAF when called upon, as payment for the Rodinan Campaign; 3.- Rodina would have to reintegrate, at the very least, half of the refugees that had found their way to Magdalenum in the next 10 years. 4.- The Tzar's daughter, the 16 year old Anna Semenov, was to marry the 18 year old Prince João of Magdalenum. The children will be of the Semenov line.
Tzar Mikhail saw no reason to not accept these terms, and eagerly signed the Treaty. After he was done with calling the nation's first free ellections in over two centuries and forming a Government, he promised to personally vistit Magalhães, to greet the hopefully by then wed Magdali-Tholish Royal couple.
