Remormation

Soon the sacrifice was ready and the temple was erected in record time taking a month to build the temple but they did have the advantage of modern equipment. 

The entire country was invited to watch these executions. This also included the queens admiration as the high priest of the religion and the country. The people watched on as the priests were marched up the pyramid hands bound in a chain 654 long. Some stumbled but had little choice as they were pulled to their feet and continued on. 

The queen looked down on these "traitors" and began her speech.
"To the glorious people of Duom Asderaordia I your rightful queen will remove the old and introduce a new order into this brand new EMPIRE with me as your Empress we shall see the light and emerge from the dark age we have been in. More instructions will follow but for now all you must know is the new gods look down apon us even now and to begin this new golden age we shall show them we have converted"

As the chant continued first by the guards then by the populous the Empress brought the ceremonial knife down into the heart of the Duom Asderaordian Cardinal the head of the old religion in Duom Asderaordia. Cheers erupted with the removal of the heart and only got louder with the next 653 hearts.
