To Councilor Oisín Durot, Minister of Commerce for the Imperium Divinium,
I hope this letter finds you well.
It has come to our attention that despite holding so much in common between our two peoples, we have had no formal communication, nor any easy method of travelling between our nations besides the rough northern seas, despite being on the same continent. While our standards may differ in our networks, I see no reason why a train line connecting our two countries would be anything but a fantastic move to thaw relations and boost economic cooperation. To ease with the infamous nature of our land laws, we propose joining with the Cross Country railway terminus in Kraudankh, and combining tickets with the Crosscountry railway when travelling beyond Kraudankh towards Sheen itself, as to make the journey as seamless as possible.
We will of course also cover fifty percent of the construction costs, as is reasonable to do so.
Kindest Regards,
Alderman David George, Minister for Foreign Affairs for the Associated Cities of Sheen

To: The Right Honorable Alderman David George
Dear Sir,
It is with the greatest enthusiasm that I have received your request, and have taken the utmost care in considering this most amiable and prosperous venture. A rail connection between Sheen and the Imperium Divinium would do much to foster both cordial relations and further economic opportunities between us. Though our nations have not always been on the best of terms we share a great deal in common. Those common interests, chief among them being free and prosperous trade and shipping.
As such, I find it more than fitting to accept your proposal. The Chalphys-Sorleis Line is an obvious choice for connection, given both the location and well constructed rails already present. This would further circumvent the need to cross over the Occidental Mountains. Divinium will of course, cover fifty percent of the expense in this endeavor.
Cordially yours, Councilor of Commerce Oisín Durot
