+IMPERIAL DECREE FROM THE EMPEROR+
My subjects, in the time of strife that we face today, it is in all our best interest and in the best interest of our Empire, that we do not forget the principles which got us to the place we are now in. Our Empire and our entire civilization has thrived on the ideals of loyalty, steadfastness, and a resolve to do whatever necessary to promote and defend our Empire’s place of prestige on the world scale.
Thus, I do make this decree. To the east of our Empire lies the Imperium Divinium, a nation which we share many differences, but also many similarities. Their Empress Catherine faces foes both foreign and domestic, and has been slandered across the world for actions, in my own opinion, which are rightful to a ruling Empress. I feel her plight as if it was my own. Empress Catherine has been unduly ridiculed for her selection of a suitor to continue her line. I am of the mind to say that those who do not rule with the crown on their brow, should not concern themselves with the suitor that the ruling Empress herself selected, especially not those from foreign lands. It is against all the ideals and honor of Imperial authority to be questioned in this manner. And this I can no longer sit by and watch as this farce continues to play out.
Know this, if there is an attempt to push Empress Catherine off the Divinian throne, or if hostile action is taken against her empire, the Holy Prussoian Empire, with all our strength and might, will join Empress Catherine in her struggle to protect monarchical and imperial prestige against all foes, whether they be her own countrymen, or foreign aggressors across the seas.
