The banquet hall of the blue lodge was filled with the excited chatter of davidians as they ate and spoke freely, all the while a unusually well dressed man watched from the head of the table. Slowly a burly well respected farmer approached him, "I have to thank you again mister uhhh lord sir without your donations we'd of never made something half as grand." the tholish noble smiled at this, "Think nothing of it friend, and drop the sir we are all brothers here are we not? Call me harold" the farmer sputtered at this, "of course si-uhh Harold." Again the noble couldn't help but chuckle, "anyways I hear you've been having issues with your tractor, is this true?" "Well yes s-Harold its quite old and its been giving me troubles but its manageable." "Tsk, tsk, that simply cannot do, I'll happily get you a new one free of charge." "Are you sure? I wouldn't want to impose." "let it serve as a token of good will between future business partners and friends."
Across David and even further afield similar events are occurring as tholish nobility and merchant men begin sponsoring local agrarian groups as a chance to gain influence and clients in sheen.

Rally Following Scandal's Start Our foreign heritage is simply proof of the corrupt and sad nature of the Sheenish political system and should not be seen as an indictment of us. The fact that the ideas of equality for all, universal suffrage, and protection of the working class from their would be oppressors had to come from abroad is a shame that we all must bear, especially those currently in power! Yet, they do not apologise, they do not seek to fix their mistakes, but instead choose to slander us for our heritage and involvement with foreign groups in order to suppress our ideals. This can not stand, as only united as one front can we, the workers and disenfranchised of the world, take our rightful place in the sun, co-equal to all! People of the world unite, we have nothing to lose but our chains. Are these not good words to stand behind? Are these not principles with one should be proud to espouse? Yet look at the papers, calling us foreign puppets when we have no strings attached to us in order to bring about our fall and stop the rise of equal rights. To add to this, the perfidious M.L.P. works with slavers and feudal lords to enrich themselves and aggrandise themselves at home, using their foreign lackeys to bully foreign countries for concessions, trample on the rights of others, and rape less fortunate countries for their wealth and resources. While we work with others to bring about brotherhood and wealth for all, they have worked to rob us and dope us with their illicitly gained goods from their cooperating with tyrants. Will we really stand for slavery and benefit from its rotten labour? No! It should be the policy of all good men of the Association to call out and work towards freedom for all and we should reflect this in our international policies. Until such a time as slavery is ended in the Raikh, a boycott should be established on their goods! The Navy should also be put to the task of stopping the disgusting practice of slavery on the seas, intercepting slave ships and blockading any countries that export such chattel abroad. For the good of the Association and everyone else, we must fight the slavers at home, abroad, and anywhere else we find them!

REMEMBER RODINA - WHAT SOCIALISM GETS YOU
Isn't the rhetoric of the NLSDAP all to familiar? How all you workers will unite and overthrow the bosses and then get everything you want without needin' to work no more? Well, the thing about talky men is that you can talk and talk and talk to them, and everything they say'll make sense in their talk, but when it comes time to act, it all falls right apart.
Do you remember Rodina, folk? How there was all that promise, and then it fell right back in on itself, with even fewer rights for you smallfolk than when it all started? Do you really want to go that way? What you've got is blessing enough, tryin' for more will surely end you up in a dark hole somewhere.
Vote right. Vote smart. Vote for what works. Vote for the M.L.P.

Realising their time was nigh, the unions organised a large scale walk-out in solidarity with the women of Sheen. Painting banners with slogans such as 'Equality for All, Slavery for None!', 'Workers of the World Unite', and 'Freedom is not a Crime', the workers and women carried banners and placards, as well as locked arms as they marched down streets. Mixed in with them were also some reading 'Love is Love' and depicting two men of different races embracing each other with doves and fruit behind them. These marches throughout the City of Sheen were mirrored elsewhere in other cities, but in the city itself, they converged on the Alliance Hall, with some of the members taking manifestos and petitions and nailing them to the doors.

In a last-ditch attempt to tarnish the NLSDAP's repuation before the public eye, the RAFIA worked double time to root out any criminals who had expressed public support of the party. Burglars, Murderers, Terrorists, anyone who committed a crime punishable with jail time. If the NLSDAP was known as the place where all criminals conspire against the Association, they were sure to loose support. This information was made known to the Sheenish police Force all across the Association, through the use of informants. Sometimes, Policemen would even arrive at their station, only to find some of these criminals already tied up, sitting outside the front door.

Following the mass walkouts and the solidarity marches, the workers promised not to go out again like that in light of the economic scare they caused. The unions put a slight hold on any mass demonstrations after realising that their actions had jeopardised the livelihoods of their members inadvertently. As a result of this, mass actions had to be called off.
Instead, party leaders took to the music halls and squares to rail against the government and its inequality, though this time it was less about its disposition against certain minorities, but instead about how it suppressed everyone.
'The government is a sham, a shadow play... Even if the people vote for us, do we really think that will be enough? The guilds have their own government, one which they do not hide, one which supersedes the elected. It is only through a united front that we can force peaceful change and reform upon their corrupted edifice of state and bring about a true representative democracy, one in which a man's vote counts for something other than entertainment for the rich elites in control of power.'
Most of the people were not listening to him as he stood on his chair trying to speak over the loud din of drunks.
'The Alliance Court is against you! Do you people not care?! If we do not join together soon, it will be too late for a peaceful revolution against their cabal of businessmen! We will have to march in the streets with guns and bombs and tear down the Association, brick by brick, until nothing is left but a new foundation to build our dream of egalite, liberte, et fraternite! While the N.L.S.D.A.P. is ahead of the pack, we need a clear majority to give us the mandate required to truly represent our voters and the people at large... Not just those that agree with us, but even those that disagree with us. We will make sure your voices and votes count, if we could only get your votes and support for our reforms.'
A few people paid him attention, some sniggering and others just out of boredom. Similar speeches happened across the city as the final effort was put in to rustle up some voters. This was the final hour, the honour of reckoning was nearly upon them. Now to see how thing turned out.
