The Heel republic looks for battleships and cruisers as part of its Armament and Modernisation efforts. King of Heel Tomor Inferno invites for that reason all potential sellers to the City and Naval outpost of Teutenburg and asks them to bring their best Ships to test them Against each other in multiple trials to decide who will get the Lucrative and Politically influential contract to Restock the National Navy.

The Exiled Navy's is intrigued by this invitation, although declines. It finds showing our best ships to another nation so they may see its weaknesses is rather distasteful, and so we respectfully say no.

The Imperium Divinium shall be in attendance with a few of her vessels, as well as a shipwright who may be able to project design modifications for her vessels in accordance with the needs of the Republic of Heel.

The Event starts after all delegations have arrived with an millitary Parade of the new Peoples Liberation Army which is also its reveal to the wider World followed by the Ships that each nation brought in entering harbour in a naval parade like procession, this includes two Native Heel designs who appear to have a wierd new propulsion system. Followed by a small speech fro the King of Heel. "Welcome to Teutenburg and to the Republic delegations. In the following days we will test and see the best warships each of you is willing to present and pick out the Ship best suited to the National Navy. I thank you all for your attendance." He bows and leaves the stage for a Military band.

Rodica watches from the bridge of the TS Stilatke, a Strefst Class Battlecruiser. She was slightly more decorated than the previous two meetings, the St. Helena accords and the Morthal treaty. The people beside her were intensly looking at the other ship designs and furiously trying to draw them. They seemed particularly intrested in the new engines of Heels ships. She was not

Councilor Coltain, thoroughly sick of travel but once again sent away by his Empress, reached Heel with a small, rather unprecedented convoy of Divinian ships in tow. The civilians from the Maidenwinds Shipwright Co. were of course, not allowed to sail on Her Majesty’s Ships, and so were presumably readying themselves on their own vessel. The HEMS Trillium, representing the Trillium Class Battleship, pride and joy of the Divinian Navy, had been thoroughly checked and fitted before the journey. Although he failed to understand the desire to show their naval capabilities to a potential threat to the Imperium, he did understand the benefits of a potential naval contract.

After the Parades the Delegations are free to roam the city or meet with the King of Heel (as this is all before the declaration of Independence). The Tests will start in a few hours too.

The Naval Tests start the next day and all participants are asked to move their ships outside of the harbour and shoot at prepared Targets while moving, who can shoot all targets in the shortest amount of time wins that part of the competition. The targets are old decommissioned freighters.

Coltain was unsure how this would prove the worth of a ship in combat. Too many variables. Nonetheless, the Battleship HEMS Trillium, as well as the Armored and Protected Cruisers HEMS Pterios and HEMS Orcinus all engaged in the first trial. All three ships comfortably reached 20kn on the calm seas, and engaged with the “enemy” according to standard Divinian naval doctrine. Pursuant shots were fired from the forward guns, followed by half salvos upon coming up along the freighters at mid-range. The Orcinus luckily, landed her pursuant shots quite well, managing to land a solid hit from her 10” gun before reaching the accepted salvo range.
Surely the ships lacked the speed of some of their competitors, but Coltain knew full well that with the range of guns and the mathematics required to aim them, his competitors would have to slow down decently to hit their target. And he could rely on the strong artillery tradition of the Divinian Military Academies not to waste their hybrid salvos as the men quickly adjusted their shots. Within less than three minutes, the Trillium had notably found her target, after which the order was given to swap from half to double salvos. The resulting sound of screeching metal was music to the ears for the Councilor as he returned to port, cheekily sounding off a gun salute as he did.

I apologise for any inconvenience I was caught in a storm on my way here and almost ran aground when we passed through a typhoon hence a little late but I hop that does not dampen the capability of our newest battleship HES Goadfail a Blitzang Class battleship that was just launched and this is its maiden voyage.

The Native designs from Heel made an weird engine sound and accelerated far to fast for their proposed weight speeding towards the targets, one of them used its three frontal turrets to open fire at the targets earlier than the other ships. It was not very accurate but one of the 6 shoots meet it mark. The other ship had a turret malfunction due to the double turret. The Blitzkrieg class was to late to join this particular competition but can join the next one.
The Native ship with the 3 front guns won this competition as it could engage earlier. The version with the dubble turrets came in last. The Imperial ship made the middle.

The next test is speed, acceleration and manoeuvrability. We have set up a course that has to be passed through as fast as possible. It simulates islands with parts simulating torpedo attacks.

The Stilatke accelerates up to its top speed in the relatively calm waters of 23 knots. The ship handles the turn with ease managing to manuver through the course quickly and avoid the torpedoes easily.

The Goadfail Picks up speed very quickly and reaches 21 Knots before dropping fast when it came to the turns were torpedos slammed into the hull one causing a small hole that flooded the torpedo bulge on the side forcing it to slow to 20 knots but it manages to patch the hole and regain speed for the remainder of the trial. The captain requested that the ship be allowed to compete in the gunnery trials

The Divinian convoy, upon orders from Councilor Coltain, refused to engage in this trial, noting that no amount of prestige was worth potentially crippling a ship for the remainder of its service.

I am afraid to say it but I have received an important telegram from home and will be unable to participate further stated the captain who left his apologies with the Heel commander. Just before he left he called over the representative one last time and asked if he wished to join him as although he couldn't say why they might be experiencing some combat so would be a good chance to demonstrate the abilities of this fine battleship.

"Where are they going?". She signals the helms man to follow the ship leaving the harbour wanting to catch up and ask them about it.
