In the beginning there existed only spirit and thought. In this higher plane of forms nothing changed and all was eternally stagnate. A race of God lived in this realm, spirits of concepts and ideas. There existed one God who found great discontent in this order and her name was Thought. Thought longed for change so one day she journeyed to the edge of the unchanging realm and jumped down to see if this would produce some result. She fell for many many years until she struck the realm of the material and shattered. Her blood flooded the earth and form a great sea of primordial thought. Some of her blood settled and soak into the world, filling the soulless stone with spirit, however, the rest of the blood remaining churning. After an eternity in this primordial soup, the blood coagulated and took the shape of a great Serpent. Freshly born, the Serpent felt a great desire to escape the waters of his birth and so he swam with all haste to the surface before cresting the waves. Soon after, another Serpent emerged from the sea and upon seeing the first asked, "who am I and who are you?" The first Serpent replied, "I am the king (name1) and I created all that you see, there is no God greater than I. You are my creation and I name you (name2)." To emphasize his point the first serpent took some blood from the sea and shaped it into a crown he placed upon his crown. The second Serpent was confused for a moment as to why a God who created the world would need to state there was none higher than him, however, he said nothing out of fear of the Crowned Serpent. In quick secession a great number of other Gods crested the waves inquiring of their purpose. The first four of the Gods were (Sun God), (Sky God), (Sea God), and (Moon God). When the Gods all emerged the blood had receded revealing much of the earth. With no direction the Gods turned to the Crowned Serpent and asked him what they should do. At this the Serpent replied, "Come with me and we shall take the rest of the sea and make it into new life, they shall be our subjects upon this earth." The Gods marveled at the wisdom of the Crowned Serpent and all went out to collect the blood and shape it in a manner pleasing to them. At first the creations of the Gods were primitive, worms for example were created by the mixing of dirt and blood and rolling out the mixture. However, with time the Gods grew more creative and shaped a great many things by taking the material earth and mixing it with blood. Still, when all was said and done the Gods were confused by the purpose of their creation as the things they made neither breathed nor thought and sat without life. Seeking answers, the Gods took their creations to the Crowned Serpent and asked him why their creations did not move or act as they did. The Serpent laughed and replied it was because they did not breathe and ordered the other Gods to bring their creations before him. The Gods complied and one by one he breathed his life into the creations. The Gods rejoiced at this and watched life take root on the earth with keen interest. Following this, the Gods split up and traveled the earth playing with their new creations. All the Gods were pleased with their king and his blessings except for the Second Serpent who had not created any life to rule over. The Second Serpent felt bitter envy towards the Crowned Serpent and the praise the other Gods gave to him. Embittered, he sought out the weakest of the Gods and began to whisper doubts into their ears. In time as the Crowned Serpent happily took his place as the ruler of the world, The Second Serpent slowly gathered a following amongst the lowest Gods who began to hail him as the true king of the Gods. Lacking mortal followers, the Second Serpent sought out the other God's creations. Of particular interest was the third born God and his creation, humans. The Second Serpent came to (Sun God) and said, "Third born. It is wrong that one as mighty as you should sit so low while another sits so high. Surely we as the second and third born should stand as rulers of the Gods. Why do your creations pay tribute to a God who claims to be above you? Why, if we were to stand together, we could be worshiped as equals. Not as master and servant." (Sun God) shooed him away, "What matter is it that my creations look up to another God stronger than I? They still regard me as their great father before all. Who are you, followerless one, to tell me otherwise? It is clear enough you covet my children's worship, but have you molded them or breathed life into them?" The Second Serpent could not reply and instead fled before (Sun God) could tell the Crowned Serpent of his treachery. When word did reach the Crowned Serpent he fell into a terrible fury and demanded the second's head. The Gods he sent out to deliver it to him, however, were beset upon by the Second's followers. When the few survivors returned to the Crowned Serpent in failure, he grew yet more irate and gathered all of his followers and their creations for war. While this occurred, the Second Serpent did the same and soon the world was split in two. The Crowned Serpent's side stood stronger, but the Second Serpent's cunning was second to none and so he seduced many of the mortal followers of the Crowned Serpent's side to his own. Of those were almost all of the followers of (Sun God), which is why so few know the truth today. In the early years the war was brutal, shaking the earth with its fury, though it calmed as most of the Gods were injured or died along with their mortal followers. The Second Serpent has fled beneath the earth and still whispers his seduction against the Crowned Serpent who has retreated to a great palace above the clouds. In this war, our father, the Sun God, was injured and fled with his wife and daughters into the heavens, leaving his creations under the command of his son who's children still command the Kvensch to this day.
