The People The key features of the Givarems is their long lifespan and enormous strength and physical capability. When the Givarems are between twenty and thirty they are capable of awe inspiring feats of endurance and strength. During their peak Givarems stand from 6' to 7' tall and are capable of lifting in excess of 6,000 lbs. They also posses extraordinarily quick reflexes and excessive stamina. Once the Givarems reach thirty their bodies start to deteriorate rapidly, they shrink to a size under four foot and rapidly lose all muscle mass leaving large flaps of skin hanging from their bodies. The Givarems must live with this form for the next one hundred and sixty years, most focus on gaining large amounts of knowledge and wisdom, however those who managed to amass a large amount of wealth and prestige during their prime may retire to the wilderness with their servants to live a life of seclusion and luxury.
Racial Magics. The Givarems discovered a series of rituals some hundred years ago. These rituals allow a Givarem to either enhance their strength or lengthen the time they have it for. This discovery allowed the Givarems to expand and conquer a large swathe of land for their empire.

The Society. The Givarems empire has a population of around 2 million. This population is largely concentrates in large cities along the coast of the peninsula with few people venturing into the centre of the peninsula. Most land outside on the interior is dominated by large farms and estates owned by older wealthy Givarems and operated by their servants.
Young Givarems in their prime tend to work in the police, military, or venture out on merchant ships to act as security and venture the world. Older Givarem generally retire to the cities where they use the large universities and places of education to further their knowledge of the world, an exception to these norms are the Givarem who earn large amounts of wealth in their youth and retire to large estates on the peninsula.Large amounts of welfare is dedicated to the Givarems older than 30 and their servants who care for them. These servants are brought from overseas specifically to work in jobs that require average amounts of physical labour that is considered beneath the Givarem in their prime.

The Government. The Givarems are spread throughout their lands, mostly keeping to their city states and deciding their own laws and regulations. The monarch of these cities is decided through a trial by combat, with the first to draw blood being nominated ruler. Typically this ruler lasts until the end of their physical prime, however they can be challenged for their position. These rulers are assisted by an older member of the city who has been appointed by general consensus of the population as the most wise and intelligent. This system is mirrored in the national government. A similar trial by combat between all the rulers of the cities decides who is appointed national monarch. The national monarch is placed in charge of the defence of all territory as well as their own.

The Gods. Long ago during the beginning of our people. Before we were the strongest of beings and the smartest of men. There lived a family of farmers living a base life off of the land. They lived this way for many years, barely able to survive the winters of their land, unable to hunt down and kill even the smallest of creatures reduced to eating nothing but the plants grown by their hand. They lived like this until the father had grown old and weak, unable to work on their land leaving the work to his only son. Unfortunately for the family, the son was ill suited to the work. Thus to avoid starvation and the death of his family the father spent his long days confined to his bed thinking and learning all that he could. He thought of new ways to work the earth and new tools to make the work easier, but still his son struggled to meet the needs of his family. Soon the father's strength began to leave him and he understood that his time on this world was fading he began on his final work to ensure the prosperity of his family. He called on the world to grant the strength his son needed to fight the beasts of the world and bring meat back to his family. As the world granted his request it imbued his son with strength but consumed whatever meagre strength the fathers body had left leaving him infirm and shriveled.
