Imperial Decree #1084
By the authority of the Emperor of Rashad and with the consent of the Rashadian Dukes, it is hereby decreed that a new flag shall be introduced to represent the nation of Rashad. The new flag shall consist of a dark blue background with a black Nordic cross centered in the left third, within which is a slightly smaller Nordic cross in a deep maroon color. Over the intersection of the cross shall be a simplified coat of arms of the Emperor, which shall be depicted on an argent background with a bend of Gules. The Crown of the Emperor of Rashad shall also be overlaid on the flag.
This new flag shall serve as a symbol of Rashadian identity and unity, and shall be flown with honor and respect throughout the nation. It is hoped that this new flag shall inspire a sense of pride and patriotism among all Rashadians, and that it shall serve as a reminder of the great traditions and values that have made Rashad a strong and prosperous nation.
All government agencies, military units, and other institutions of the state are directed to adopt the new flag and to display it prominently in all appropriate settings. Private citizens are also encouraged to display the new flag with pride, and to treat it with the same respect and honor as the nation it represents.
