Royal Decree With Lauria liberated from Rashad, the Tholish state kept to its promises and held a referendum on independence for the Laurian nation. Each state was given a vote and all men of each state above the age of sixteen were able to decide by majority rule to stay in a union with the Tholish realm or seek seperation. With a vote of 3 to 6, the Laurian states have voted to form their own independent nation.
To honor this vote, His Majesty Highking Ludwig Cransnikov has called for a moot to be assembled from the Laurian electorate to draft a new Laurian constitution as the state begins the process of independence. His Majesty hopes for a bright and prosperous cooperation between the Laurian and Tholish realms going forward.
