Conferences and Crisis! As of this evening, talks are still underway in the Argent Palace to determine the future of our Empire among the states of the world. No official statement of terms or orders has been made by the Imperial Press Office, save that, “The terms discussed have been most satisfactory as presented at the current moment.” Though this is the official statement, a palace insider is noted as having seen “an enormous shipment of guns” being brought within the palace. What could this mean?
While agreements are apparently being made within the sanctified halls of the Noble Imperium Divinium, it seems diplomacy has broken down elsewhere in the world. The bloody regime of the Peoples Republic of Rodina, successors of the Empire who supported the former Crown Prince Eugene for the Imperial Throne, have been invading their neighbors in a horrific and unprecedented manner. Reports tell of the gruesome slaughter of innocent women and children, with infants being nailed to church doors or otherwise eaten by the savages!
Elsewhere, The Heel Republic, a relatively minor nation, has apparently rejected the terms of the Morthal Naval Treaty and intends to embroil the world in unrestricted naval combat. A puppet of the swindling Empire of Sadalen, their masters are surely responsible for the subversion, in order to outfit their fighting men with inhumane and cruel weaponry. We pray the Empress can, with Branch and sword, make these men live up to their namesake, and bring them to heel!

Sanguis et Aurum
Major economic victories have been struck for the most noble Divinian Offshore Company recently, with the acceptance of Grand Maren into the organization. Official ceding of territory to the Corporate State has been organized by our nation and Moderal, to secure colonial holdings for her use in trade and production of goods. This move is surely intended to secure the wealth and prosperity of the Imperium Divinium and her allies for years to come!
The Empress Catherine has also been reported to have begun travels to the Gankands, with troops in tow, in order to officially be crowned their High Queen and bring stability to the once prosperous region. According to the Argent Palace Press Office, “We expect no conflict in the Gankands. Our Empress has effectively run the former Gankands for the better part of two years. Now, we merely aim to declare officially what is already fact. The Arm of the Imperial Government will soon stretch across the continent.”
In other news, a recent conflict with pirates from the Republic of Heel has been averted. The Republic made a sudden about face on their policy of pirating DOC shipping, which we can only assume is the result of shrewd diplomatic intervention from Her Ephemeral Majesty’s Government. Surely, the Imperium is poised on the precipice of returning to the glory days of the First Holy Divinian Empire!

Empress Catherine crowned “High Queen of Gankands”
In an official state ceremony this evening, our own Empress, Catherine von Marcum, was crowned High Queen of the Gankands in an official state ceremony at Coronae’i’Xarn in the Gankands Territory. Much of the former nation has remained in-administered following the Coalition War after all but our Sadalenese neighbors relinquished their claims on the land. Through infrastructural investments from the Divinian Offshore Company, and the expanding influence of Divinian influence in the area, Catherine placed much of the territory under nominal Divinian influence in the past few years, administering to the people in an unofficial capacity.
Following the signing of the St. Helena Accords however, it was seen as fitting and proper by the international community at large, to accept formal recognition of the land as the rightful territory of our great nation. Thus, the Empress finally decided to make her presence in Gankands a formal one through a public coronation. The Gankands shall be converted into a state of the Empire, with her own internal parliament and representatives in the Imperial Diet. The official capital of the Gankands will be in the newly renamed Coronae’i’Xarn, which was chosen by the Vernal Priesthood before the departure of the Empress from St. Helena.
During the ceremony, several representatives from Sadalen and the Council of Wisdom were present, as were the newly enobled men of Gankands, who swore their fealty and worshipped their new Empress. This Empress worship, though a long held belief in Gankands, will hopefully be phased out as the faithful teach our new compatriots the proper course. Newly appointed Councilor Cathal Retorus will stay behind in the Gankands to administer the territory and aid in her organization for several months before returning to his post in St. Helena.
For the most part, this official transfer of power has been a peaceful one, though some skirmishing has been notable between former Gankandsian nobility and the military police sent by the Empress. Still, the newly appointed nobility have been gracious in their efforts to stomp out the last of those who harbor ill regard toward Her Ephemeral Majesty.

St. Helena Tribune November 1, 1913 Shakeup of the Imperial Council of Wisdom
New Faces Grace the Council Chambers! Fresh off the heels of the death of Archduke Aodhan Estrana, our Emperor Elect has seen fit to cull some of the older councilors on his staff and replace them with newer members more in line with his vision for a reinvigorated Imperial Government. In a note to this news agency, the Imperial Press Office stated that the staffing changes were “Not a matter of personal dissatisfaction, but a necessary maneuver to form a council with ideas more in line with the current state of the world.”
It should be noted that despite rumors of the late Archduke’s involvement in an attempt on the Emperor’s life, Duke Christoph Estrana has been elevated to a position on the Council as Councilor of Consuls. Among the other changes are the appointment of Legate Theris to the Council of Arms, and Mr. Zephyros Phrixos to the Council of Commerce. The former Councilor of Consuls, Cathal Retorus, has been promoted to Consiliario and Archduke en Tempus of St. Helena. The position of Councilor of Unity has evidently been offered to a Sheenish National, though no official confirmation has beeen made at this time.
