On the seventeenth of October, 1913, Patriarch Rybakar of New Respite signed into law a new system of civilian medals and awards to compliment the pre-existing military awards. These medals are also extended to citizens of the Reservations and those of Kumarkatch, however the local authorities there may rename the medals as appropriate to the local language, culture and custom.
The medals were split into categories, these are as follows:
Medals Of Salvation:
- Medal for the Salvation of the Drowned: Awarded to those citizens who risk their life to rescue a fellow man from drowning
- Medal for the Salvation of the Burning: Awarded to those citizens who risk their life to rescue a fellow man from burning or smoke inhalation
- Medal for the Salvation of the Dying: Awarded to those who risk their life to rescue or save a fellow man's life in other circumstances
Medals Of Heroism:
- Hero of the Caudian Isles (Or "Hero of Kumarkatch in Kumarkatch): Awarded to those who perform great deeds of bravery in service to the state
- For Distinction in the Protection of Life: Awarded to medical professionals and firefighters who perform great deeds in their line of work
- For Distinction in the Rescuing of the Injured: Awarded to those who rescue those under threat due to natural disasters or cave-ins.
- Medal of Industrial Heroism: Awarded to those who save their fellows or vital infrastructure during a catastrophic event in an industrial centre
Medals For Labour
- Order of the Gold Banner of Labour: Awarded to Workers who excel and go beyond the norm at work, mostly awarded alongside another medal
- Order of Glorious Labour: Awarded in 3 classes (1st, 2nd and 3rd) for specific deeds of glory in the workplace, upgraded to the next class for additional deeds
- Medal for Valorous Labour: Awarded to those who either dedicate themselves valorously to the building of society or to those whose craft leads to new innovations
- Medal for Distinguished Labour: Awarded to those who perfect their area of labour or expertise or who manage to improve the efficiency of their workplace
- Medal for Veteran Labourers: Awarded to those who reach retirement age and continue to work past it or to those who continue to work despite physical disability
- Medal for Distinction in Agriculture: Awarded to those who make great achievements in the field of agriculture or who develop new techniques in that field
- Medal for the Development of Railways: Awarded to those who make great achievements in the development of railways or who develop new forms of rail locomotion
- Medal for Distinction in the Survey of our Peoples and Duties: Awarded to those who went above and beyond in the matter of surveying and archiving
Medals For Family
- Order of Parental Glory: Awarded jointly to parents who raise four or more children to an exceptional level and with great regards to health and wellbeing
- Order of the Gold Banner of Parentage: Awarded jointly to parents who have two or more children who achieved a medal of great renown or who have one child with an abundance of such medals
- Order of the Mother Heroine: Awarded to mothers who bear over ten children, awarded on the first birthday of the tenth child so long as 9 other siblings are alive or died in honourable/respectable circumstances such as military defence.
- Order of Maternal Glory: Awarded to mothers who bear over eight children, awarded on the first birthday of the eighth child so long as 7 other siblings are alive or died in honourable/respectable circumstances such as military defence.
- Maternity Medal: Awarded to mothers who bear over five children, awarded on the first birthday of the fifth child so long as 4 other siblings are alive or died in honourable/respectable circumstances such as military defence.
- Medal for Distinction in Care: Awarded to orphanage or medical staff who excel in care for the children under their purview
Uncategorised Medals:
- Order of the Virgin Mary: Awarded to those who help the poor and destitute of other nations or who perform other such great acts of charity
- Order of the Martyr (Called Order of Empress Catherine in the town of New Acre): Awarded to those who perform acts of self-sacrifice for a greater cause, additionally automatically awarded to those who died in the achievement of another medal
- Order of Honour: Awarded to those who perform an exemplary deed that greatly benefits the nation, intentionally kept vague to allow greater flexibility
- Order of Friendship: Awarded for special merit in strengthening friendship and cooperation between peoples, for fruitful work in the rapprochement and mutual enrichment of cultures of nations and ethnicities or for strengthening peace and friendly relations among nations
- Golden Anniversary Medal: Awarded to those who remain in marriage without regret, adultery or confrontation in the course of 50 years, a Diamond version is given for 80 years under the same conditions
- Elder Medal: Awarded to those who reach 100 years of age, if they have managed to keep their faculties, they are given a Golden version. For those that reach 110 a diamond version is given irregardless of faculties
