With the end of the Tholish-Sadaler war, all Tholish-Christians from Sadalen were emancipated from the Sadaler internment camps and handed over to WTC. Of the 409,813 Tholish Christians living in Sadalen before the war, only 44,260 left Sadalen alive. All men were drowned under the orders of Anthiese, and the vast majority of children perished in the filth and freezing cold of the camps. The bulk of the survivors were emaciated women, many widows, who were returned alongside trains full of bones. The dead were laid to rest alongside the soldiers of WTC in the Tholish-Sadaler War Memorial under white crosses and the women and children were taken in as wards of the crown.
