Keel-Nard spends the first portion of the assembly walking around and asking people their opinions on the female doctor bans, debating with those that disagree on the idea that since male doctors are more likely to be serving in or with the army, female doctors are a valuable workforce for the NHS since they cannot work for the army and therefore can only work in the NHS. He also adds that in his own medical experience he has found that women are actually quite naturally accustomed to the field of medicine as their maternal instincts make them more caring and attentive to those around them and are thus naturally more diligent and determined doctors. When the first recess of the session occurred, Abasunus stalked out of the hall like a (large) predator. While obvious cliques were forming, a vast majority of the independents wandered aimlessly alone or in small groups. Abasunus waddles travels between these groups calling out the men's carefully remembered names and inviting them over to taste/drink/smoke whatever luxury he can figure out they prefer (or just taking safe bets when he has no clue). He and his clique warmly accept these new men and for a time speak only pleasantries and drink until their guests are suitably pliable when they begin sneaking in innocuous about the proposals and state of affairs of the Raikh. With hope, they shall push the direction of conversations towards their preferred laws, ideally with the guests being the ones actually voicing the opinions after being led by the nose to them, though the men of Hardusaiþs will be more open if this fails. Despite Keel-Nard's best efforts, the fatman had done his job rather well. Sentiment turned against the idea of women being able to act as doctresses for men, quite a few laughing at the absurdity of the idea. A small contingent did seem to see the merit of the idea of doctresses, but social ridicule kept them fairly quiet. In total, a shift of twenty percent added to the Hardusaiþs voting block. Likewise, the Hardusaiþs gained support from the same cohort on the labour union for women. Opposition to the fire-arms clubs and registry manifested as a mere fifteen percent.

Later during the assembly, Wez sauntered around the halls asking people one simple question; "Don't you want an image of our great Hauhkuno sitting proudly upon your walls?" To those who said yes, he had a pleasant coversation with them that eventually would end in a deep description of the sausage making process, but those who responded with no, he turned visibly red and responded "So then you prefer to have the snake Wilhelm on your wall, are you a traitor to the Raikh! Do you hate our people? You vile snake!" and would promptly storm off to the next person.

His manner was abrasive, his temper was wild, and his ability to stay on point was completely lacking, but somehow... Somehow his poor faith arguments and insane focus on sausages and portraits of the Hauhkuno, despite being completely insane, managed to win people over. In fact, every man he talked to through sheer reflex to the idea of Wilhelm of the Tholes being on their walls, became adamantly for the portraits of the Hauhkuno and went on to convince others. As a result, support for the measure went up to near universal levels.

The first turn is over.
The Assembly is currently in overall favour of adding portraits of the Hauhkuno to public buildings.
There is currently only minor opposition to the barring of women from serving as doctresses for men, overall tepid support, but mostly neutral.
The gun clubs and registry are more opposed than supported, but the majority are ambivalent. Following non-aligned actions, opinions have turned thusly:
Support for the points 1 and 2 have reached a majority, but a close one.
Opposition to the gun clubs and registry has reached a majority, but a close one.
Support for the portrait initiative has achieved a near total majority.
Opposition to government housing is strong, but due to socialism only has a large majority. Concerns have been raised about financing and the government budget.
Support for the agricultural review is near universal.

Wez got on a chair and bellowed to the Assembly, "Brothers, hear me now! I have heard the Tholes also play hockey and think themselves superior! We must show them they are wrong by crushing and humiliating them on the Global Hockey circuit by training a new generation of professional Sadaler Hockey players, who will be far stronger and more powerful than their tholish advisaries as they eat well with great abundance of good sausage and Adamalt! I say we do this not because it is right, but because this is our sport! what say thee!"

With the recent proof of sports being profitable coming from Sheen and a generally high approval rating of sports amongst the members, Wez's proposition got picked up by the majority. Total of seventy-one percent supported this. Due to his actions, twelve percent of the Assembly has realigned politically with his party. Likewise, two percent has realigned with the Hardusaiþs.

Abasunus perked up at this proposed league thinking of how much money could be made, "Hear! Hear! Let us not delay and let those tholish rats gain an advantage. May I propose that we form a commission to begin preparing the league and appropriate stadiums? I know quite a few prime candidates for helping with the standardization process."

Regards,
Wez Matteman.
Harvey read the letter, saw the sausage, and was wholly confused... his decision on what? It wasn't up to him if he'd be elected, he didn't even know who this Wez man was, I mean, who would name their son Sausage?!?!?!?
