Following pressure from WTC some of the Laurian States have broken into open conflict with their rightful Government. Duke Grodaal was the only duke who actively joined the rebellion, Fleeing Kšena late one night before riding fast for Lauria making it a week later and emerged as the figurehead of the Rebellion.

Kšena: The remaining 22 dukes along with the Emperor discussed what to do about this betrayal. First the main military focus would be the boarder with WTC to hold back the inevitable assault while those units that could be spared sent to the worst regions. They also decided to Form the LDL (Laurian Defence League) A paramilitary group manned and run by Laurians who had proven themselves loyal to Rashad, This in conjunction with before mentioned military units would secure those towns and cities that are loyal and methodically sweep through the country side looking for traces of rebel activities.
