Trialling the rifle of the 1200s

Admiral Lewis had just recieved a telegram the day after showing the fine work of the Skibauj skunkworks to one Mr Martinez, apparently he had forgotten about the project to update the Associations main battle rifle to a new form of weapon that acted like a shoulder controllable machine gun when needed, but could also work just like a Model 1196 SLR when needed. The Project, named Bee Swarm, had been going on for the past decade and finally the rifle was almost ready for adoption. The 70 round drum and the stick magazine were not yet ready, but the 20 round drum was. Admiral Lewis fired the weapon fully automatic and found the recoil most comfortable and the weapon easily controllable. Tests were run with the rifle over the following days in Dauthsaiws, which showed the rifle to be perfectly able to run thousands of rounds of ammunition and survive muddy conditions with just basic field maintanence whenever possible. As such the adoption of the rifle was planned to occur by 1206.
