Anthony "Big Tony" Platt settled into his role as Grand Chairman swiftly, and after his initial purging and replacing of the cabinet, he turned his beady eyes to what mattered the most to him - foreign affairs and making more coherent ties between Dunwik and the outside world. Having passed through many Dunwikki cities on the way to his office in Miskatonic, he had familiarized himself intricately with the markets of those cities, seeing men hawking wares, showing off trained animals, inventors with their gadgets, and artists with their instruments all clamoring for the attention of passersby.
In Tony's eye, this experience was a uniquely Dunwikki phenomenon - no other market he had ever been to had been as chaotic or vibrant as a Dunwikki one. Such a spectacle would surely draw eyes, further alliances, and project a good image of Dunwik onto the world. A carefully curated selection of brilliant crops, toys, tools, and artists would be selected for, studied in intricate detail. House, Arthur, and his own son were all called, and sent to organize the affairs, the celebrations.
Tony would send messages to leaders across the world; politely worded missives informing everyone of the news of his ascension to the seat of Grand Chairman, and the wish to begin the organization of the very first World's Fair, alongside a global sporting competition alongside it. The place to discuss this was established as Miskatonic, where (in a break from the prior Grand Chairman's hands-off style) he would personally oversee the negotiations.

Due to the ongoing occurrences of increased illegal immigration into the Raikh and the somewhat associated rise in unprecedented violent crime, we have been unable to respond to your invitation until this time.
We are most interested in attending, though as we are somewhat engaged in policing actions, we do not feel it is prudent to spend too heavily on this. As such, we intend for our part to be relatively minor.

Dear Mr Platt,
Congratrulations on your election, I must apologise for the actions of Mr Yerkes, I have been told he broke into your airspace several times and I have no idea how he did this.
I will attend these negotiations, however I have two requirements, first I wish for you to of course make sure the event is safe for all foreign dignitaries and that the sports event you mention is fairly run, and second that we cover up the outlandish claims that Yerkes fell out of the sky in Miskatonic, that's just silly.
