Count Gospatric Rota sat in his cabin drinking tea terribly pleased with himself for winning the backing of the grey-hairs to launch this expedition to wrestle some control of the western trade from Sadalen. A shout of land rings out across the deck and Gospatric rushes out as Hamagawa Port soon can be seen in the distance with the naked eye. After approaching a bit closer, Gospatric gives the order to first wait to see if their small fleet is confronted by any ships coming from Hamagawa.

The Officials at Hamagawa seemingly just stare and wait for the vessels to finnish its business or dock already.

Seeing a lack of challenge from the port, the Tholish ships come to dock. Count Gospatric, his accompanying guards, and various other staff then disembark the ship to meet with port officials and clear up any barriers to continuing on to trading as well as probing the idea of establishing relations.

As the count disembarked his ship, he looked around to see a very lively port with oriental architecture filling the seaside. People laugh, cheer and shout aloud as the port was a bustling market filled with stores, restaurants, hotels and ships. Getting the chance to look around and admire the scenery. The duke can notice a few soldiers in the distance that are guarding a building facing the dock they are on with a sign on it that writes the same thing in three different languages, Japanese, Latin and Hundisch. “Administration Office.” |

Pleased to see familiar letters, Gospatric approached the office after dismissing all but a guard and a personal attended and unless challenged entered the strange oriental building.

Pleased to see familiar letters, Gospatric approached the office after dismissing all but a guard and a personal attended and unless challenged entered the strange oriental building. The guard on the building stop them and points at a sign that reads: “Give away weapons for confiscation until you have come back to retrieve it.” And soon after, the guard offered his hand to take and confiscate anything they have on them that could be used as a lethal weapon. |
