This report was assigned by Duke Heregod Rothwell Duke of Chaigaderon Lord Protector of Sandvall.
It will examine the nation of Molyneaux through a collection of diary pages, essays, expedition reports and interviews by me
First of an Overview:
Governance:
Molyneaux is Kingdom that is characterised by a laissez faire attitude.
The Kingdom is compromised of many Départements, they are independent in many aspects of governance, as long they allow free movement of all peoples from one to the other as the fundamental right. Thusly people can escape bad governance and the Départements compete for civillian goodwill. Those Départements that are more detached from the direct authority of the Throne are to compensate for that freedom by higher taxes to the central governance.
Taxes can be paid in different ways:
Produce
Currency
certain raw materials
recruits entering federal army branches
military formations of local origin such as the renown ‘White Bear Infantry Regiments’
Those among others are established as payment options. A bureau of finance is responsible for the assessment and standardisation of the conversion rates.
Not much else is verifiably known as of now, which is why I will be sent there to collect information, my reports will be published and distributed by the duchies printerie services and will be available for purchase far and wide.
