Edict of the Military 1908
Article I: a) The navy shall put in orders for the construction of 2 battleships of the Sorsu-class. These are to be built with all haste. These battleships are to be named Repulse and Gothic.
b) Additional funding, amounting to $5,000,000 Imperial Marks, shall be directed to the Imperial Army Ordnance Research Commission, for additional testing and research regarding the creation of aero planes which can be modified for military use.
c) Additional fortifications shall be constructed along the southwestern border lands, and additional maritime defenses, such as naval guns, strategic sea walls, and so on are to be constructed along the Bay of Purple and Southsport.
Article II:
a) The peace time strength of Army reserves shall be no less than 350,000 soldiers.
Article III:
a) Regarding the current state of the Imperial Crown, the Supreme Warlord is currently indisposed, and could not react in a time of crisis. Therefore, a new position has been created, for the usage of the Prince Regent. This office, henceforth named, the Lord Commander of Imperial Army and Grand Admiral of the Imperial Navy. The Prince Regent sits below the Supreme Warlord in the chain of command, but holds absolute power on par with the Supreme Warlord, until his recovery and the dissolution of the positions Lord Commander and Grand Admiral.
