In his best Latin, the Prince Regent penned a letter to his Son-the young Emperor of the Imperium. Octavius struggled for the words to flow, what was there to say? Apologies for not being apart of his life or education since the death of his mother? Ruling was easier than this....
Florin-Aurelius,
I hope this letter finds you in good spirits. I listened to your recent speech over the radio and was impressed. You did very well in reassuring your people of their safety.
I have been making efforts to allow for you to travel to Prussoian sometime in the future, to see me and the Princess Constance in person, as well as a tour of the land of your forefathers. Would this be something you would like to do? If you wish to remain in the Imperium for the rest of your education as Emperor, I understand. Sometimes duty must take priority over all other things.
Regardless anything, I am proud of you, and I am sure your mother would be as well, God rest her soul. Keep studying, learning, and listen to your tutors. A good Emperor follows advice from advisors wiser and older than them.
With Love and Warm Affection,
Your Father,
Octavius Arcturus Hollestra, Prince Regent of the Prussoian Empire and Imperial Heir
P.S.: I have enclosed some portraits and photographs of myself, Princess Constance, and other members of the Hollestra family for your possession, as well as various trinkets and such, in an attached package.

Salve Tata, Thank you for taking the time to write to me. You must be busy running a country and having fun with your NEW family. It’s alright you haven’t written to me or seen me yet. Grandma made sure to put a portrait of you and Mama in my chambers. I’ll tell her and Aurelius all about this when I visit them again! They’re resting in a really pretty spot: but it’s a secret place! Grandma says I can’t tell anyone. I’ll plant some flowers for you there though. Then it’ll be like you’re here too!
I’d really like to come visit you in Prussoia, but Grandma always says it’s not safe to travel. But you travel all the time. And mom and Auri… they died here. I heard one of the maids say it would have been better if I was with Mama instead of Auri. Why? Did he not protect her? I think he was too little, they shouldn’t pick on him for that!
Anyway, if you can convince grandma to let me visit that would be swell! I already met cousin Constance. She came to see me before she left. She’s alright. I think she was nervous about moving, so I hope she feels better now.
Etiam atque etiam vale, Your Son, Florin

Son, The death of your mother and brother was the work of twisted men with evil delusions, and they were dealt with accordingly, it was not your brother’s fault and neither of you should have been placed in that position, but there is no changing the past. It is good to hear that you honor your mother and brother, I hope you continue to hold them close to your heart. They are in my thoughts as well. Princess Constance has settled into her new roles and has continued to adapt to her new home, she has made great strides in winning the affection of both the people. I would make efforts to travel to the Imperium, but the health of my father, your grandfather, Emperor Arcturus, holds me close to home. I could not forgive myself if, may God forbid it, his condition began to deteriorate I would not be able to come to his side. Therefore, upon the recovery upon my father, and the resumption of his activity as Emperor, will I then be able to travel to the Imperium to see you. In the meantime, I will continue our correspondence, if that is your wish as well, my son. Take care.
With Warm Affection and Love, Your Father
