Realising the issue that the Port of Sheen does not give complete control of the Northern Corridor to The Associated Cities, the Councils agreed to opening several new trading posts around the coast. 14 out of 25 Aldermen and Mayors of the Alliance Court voted in favour of the expansion.
The Ports that were agreed to be constructed are as follows:
The Port of Widzland, opposite of Sheen, helping to control the straits between the two continents that the northern passage passes between.
The Port of Saudport, Currently the most southern trading post of the Associated cities, built as a safety measure for the Honourable Imperial Passenger line if an act of agression was made against the civilian ocean liners.
The Port of Selsaiws, made up of a peninsula and nearby small islands to help control the flow of ice in and out of the trade sea.
The Ports of Nordland, near Ymir, to prevent Danish hegemony over the Ice trade.

Ships were sent out to each of the locations, with Icebreakers sent out to the far northern Port at Nordland. On the ships sent out were troops, workers and supplies to construct and defend each Port that had been planned. Local towns were visited by the units dispatched to each location to assure their cooperation in the construction, paying them off with gold. As for the Island near Ymir, due to the area being virtually uninhabited beforehand it was decided to continuously cycle men in and out of the region on a rota to prevent the feelings of isolation while towns were constructed to support the existence of each port in the Nordland area. Due to the proximity to Ymir, agreements were made with the Ymir to allow their priests into the Nordland ports as a sign of good will between both parties, helping to prevent any future conflict that would restrict the prosperity of the Associated Cities.
