With the rest of the world trying their damndnest to starve the citizens of Moderal, things had to change. Resources began getting diverted away from manufactoring and poured into making weapons and bullets. The people who lived on the DOC islands were moved and supplied with as much farmable land as possible spread across the islands. People were supplied with more weapons and the training to use them, and supplies were burried amongst the islands with instructions to find them written in coded Moderelian legends, amongst the military an operation was whispered about as more and more troops began leaving Moderal proper.

With the dropping of locusts on the main farmlands in Primisla, the order was given for the military of Moderal to start their opperation. Quickly the military began to push south from the Moderelian territory on the mainland, securing the land as they went. Simultaineously the military also secured the desert region that Moderal had claimed in what used to be Duom Asderaordia. Attachments:

With the actions of the rest of the world pushing Moderal together, preperations for combat began, The large Moderelian fleet combined at Orasud and docked, still ready to get underway at a moments notice but conserving the fuel that their normal opperations would consume. The destroyers were the only exception to this, removing all ammunition for the six inch gun and lowering the amount of torpedoes in the hold. They were also fitted with mass fishing equipment and instructed to trawl the waters around the islands for fish. With the now free resources production of gas masks began for each and every one of Moderals citizens, they were quickly distributed as fast as the were made.
With opinion of the families quickly going south news of Sadaler attacks in the south and Divinian attacks in the north were spread amonst the populace and training with rifles and swords were offered for the civilian populace. The population was also advised to begin growing food indoors to protect them from the shortages that were to come. Many old car factories were also converted into farming spaces as well.
The lack of resistance found in the military opperations meant that their success was quick. The military was now tasked with setting up more mining operations in the south, and farms in the north. Another section of the military was sent into the jungle of Duom to capture and kill as many Illhalico as possible, quietly. And transport them north to the new farms.

following the movement of the pirate fleet south, one third of the Moderal fleet is to move to intercept and destroy them. One third is to remain in Orasud, and one third is to move north to Gaia.
