Over the Horizon, what looked like a Haimfaths class Battleship came into view from the coast of Morthal, however this ship flew the flag of the Sheenish people, and had gold flags flying above it. Indeed, what onlookers were seeing was the Sheenish Lord Mayor's personal yacht, the Judge.
The Judge fired her 10 pounder to salute the port authorities, firing blanks of course as to not accidentally start a war whilst using an age of sail cannon, and then sailed towards the port, and being finally guided towards the jetties. She had a week before given notice that the man on board, Garend Marston, was coming to Sadalen to pay respects to his life long friend and former Hauhkuno, Vauhoks Abasunus.

The Lord Mayor, a guest now of the Raikh, was met by a committee of military officers and government officials. After his ship was allowed into port, a large submarine net and ship chain was raised over the mouth of the port. 'We welcome you, honourable Lord Mayor. We are afraid to tell you that the diplomatic situation has developed in such a way as to be incongruous with further familial relations between us and the Kingdom of West-Thosel-Cransconia. We must inform you that there is a chance of conflict arising from this perturbation of relations. For these reasons, we have raised the net over the port and hope that you present us with forbearance over this situation.' Taking a moment to clear his throat, the man then handed the Lord Mayor some paperwork. 'Should your valet be available, I would ask you to hand this to him so he may complete these forms for you. Once that is done, you shall be free to sail to the capital.'

"That is quite alright, I am only here for a short while, I'll let you know when I wish to leave so you may lower the net to let me leave." Marston replied. "Alfred, please deal with the paperwork while I sort out the itinery for the visit. Once the paperwork is settled and we are free to get on with the journey, let the captain know so we can make haste so that we are not away for longer than is absolutely necessary when the stability of the region... is as like Vauhoks's footing once tackled." "Of Course, Mister Marston"

"Of Course, Mister Marston" After being cleared by customs and given a boat to get to the capital, the party spent brisk three days travelling up river until they came to Hlawbaugs. From there, they then took a train from there to the capital, making it there by nightfall of the fifth day of travel. All the while, they got to see swamps and fertile flood plains transform into rolling hills with the odd copse of trees to forests with ever growing hills to mountains and deep valleys. The further south they travelled, the less frequent the villages near their routes became. Arriving in the capital proper, they were greeted by a very cold and blackened stone and metal station. As the main doors were open, there was a draft from them to the open area through which trains entered the station. The ceiling was a vaulted metal frame sat upon stone walls with carved reliefs and some brass, but on top of the framework were glass panes of what were originally multiple colours, but now were quite darkened or yellowed from soot. The party steppped out of the station and into a brisk breeze. The sky was clear, the birds were singing, and all was right with the world, other than the fact that they were now in a foreign country where everyone counted oddly. Taking a tram from the station, they were able to get to the government quarter without any issue and came to the wrought-iron gates of the Sluut. Stating their business to the guards, they were allow in and escorted to the throne room. Once there, they met the Hauhkuno.

"Though I would like to get past the pleasantries and to the business of visiting my fallen friend's grave for a while, I am not here as a visiting dignitary but as a friend of Vauhoks Abasunus." After the pleasantries were exchanged, Marston was led to a room where he was stripped of his clothes and given warmer winter gear, a pack with some rope, and a gun. He was loaded onto a mule and then led up a mountain until he came to the tomb of Vauhoks. At the Tomb, Marston pulled out two glasses and a bottle of beer. He poured out two glasses, one for himself and the other for his fallen friend. "Well Vauhoks, you went out the way we always expected, I did warn you that you shouldn't try and do a flyting against every person you best... and that it would bite you in the back someday, well, I didn't expect it to bite you like this, more losing face internationally!" Marston grinned, "well, now at least you won't have to lose face at that rematch you always were demanding, I always imagined that we'd be going out together in a ruck, but it seems that I was wrong." Marston spent the night reminiscing with his fallen friend before heading back when day broke, and once back in the Sadaler capital, made his way back to Morthal to set sail for Sheen.
