Dumbs forces from Noreska have lately been seen crossing over into the more tribal lands to the north-east of Meinitzmark, causing a great deal of destruction and chaos to occur in them. These reports were initially put forth by the Klappiggin of said lands, but they were seconded once and then twice by our own Raikhsharjis. This has in turn caused much furor amongst those more refined classes and within the Raikhsgamotjing, who turning towards righteous indignation at these disturbances, have commissioned the most honourable and storied Haarsluugs Markjakreggaistas to set forth and observe these aggressions.
In news closer to home, a man's body was recovered from one of the canals in Morthal this morning. At first glance, it was suspected that he had simply passed due to over-indulgence in the more intoxicating beverages, but it was later determined that he has in fact been poisoned to make it appear as such. At this time, an investigation is being carried out by members of the Morthalwardjan as well as the Landsharjis. Chief Inspector Sten Salja of the Wardjan is leading the investigation with a team of expert and veteran Kregjen. Expectations however remain low, given the nature of the murder.
In other news, all those who have been to New Dunwik within the last six months are hereby barred entry into the Raikh and its territories. This grave decision was made after a council of wise-men was called to discuss the goings on. As the happenings of late have been quite dire, their recommendation to the Raikhsgamotjing and then to the Hauhkuno himself was to hold all those recently from those lands and those they had come into contact with for a period of no less than half a season, with all further incomers being barred. This has been met with no small amount of consternation from those parts with mercantile interests in those outer-lands.

Special Report Martial law has been declared in Morþal following two nights of riots after a ship was spotted exporting foods overseas. The Assembly of the Conscript-Fathers has announced that travel into the city is to be done by permit only and that further restrictions might be considered should the situation continue. Representatives of the city council have released statements decrying these actions, calling them 'ill conceived' and questioning whether the government intends to create a border within the province between Morþal and the rest of its hinterland.
Ration books have been issued in all districts now, with the blue books contain the following weekly: 1 ounce tea, 40 Pfennige meat, 4 ounces cheese, 1 dozen eggs and a half pint of milk monthly, 4 ounces preserves, 1/2 ounce tobacco, 1/4 cocoa, and 2 ounces sundry fats or margarine. Special allowances for families with small children are being made, with censors currently being responsible for making such adjustments as needed. Military ration books must have a valid signature and date stamp written on the page being used, which are to be provided by the soldier's commanding officer. Those attempting to use military ration books without proper authorisation are to receive no less than three months hard labour.

Hlawbaugs F.U. v. Morþal F.U. 9T 1C - 5T 4C 0DHlawbaugs F.U. started the season off strong with what has been described as the total domination of the younger Morþal F.U. While Morþal's players were quite energetic, several penalties were given out due to poor sportsmanship, forward passes, and high tackles resulting in an astonishingly high eight drop-goals for Hlawbaugs. Thirty minutes into the game, a light rain was experienced and play continued on, leading to some minor injuries due to a loss of traction on the pitch. Both teams agreed to take off their shoes and continue on bare-footed. Following the game, Lord Bryant commented that he feels quite good in their chances of winning the world cup and beating the Sheenish this year. His players were quite amused by this and began an impromptu chant of 'Anyone but Sheen'. Fans from both cities carried out an impromptu whip-around and showered the players with gifts in a rather spectacular going away party. As things stand, they are expected to travel over the weekend to the Associated Cities of Sheen for their next matches by air. The gentlemen of both teams have assured reporters that through the generous contributions of their supporters, their travel expenses have been covered. Morþal City vs Seaxebaurgs 0T 0C 0D - 1T 1C 1D In a good showing, Morþal City managed to lose to Seaxebaurgs by only ten points, despite their relative inexperience. In the first overseas match of the year, the team was given a warm welcome in Sheen and started things off properly with a handshake between the sides. Making his debut, Randriambololona was seen as quite the oddity on the pitch and appears to have become a minor celebrity amongst the locals due to his dark skin and odd hair. Play began following the singing of the national anthems as both city and national flags were brought onto the field. Despite their efforts, Morþal was unable to approach the goal line for most of the game, instead being kept largely on the defensive by the strong Sheenish team. Overall, the performance from both sides was quite excellent and it is expected that they will face-off again, as Morþal City has announced its interest in joining the Sheenish League following the match. Post-game, both teams carried out a meet-and-greet with fans and were seen heading out to a local public house. It is currently unknown who Seaxebaurgs are going to be playing next, but they seem to be in good spirits and looking forward to their next game. Some of the players took to making jokes about needing to worry about their complexions, as they might be sent to Moderal next to play.

Seconded reports of men breaking curfew have reached this service, with mutinies being declared in both Morþal and Pinij-bei-Morei by the local commanders. In the city of Morþal, the fortress has been seen with the imperial standard flying high alongside the old war ensign. Mutinying sailors are said to have stormed the garrison house and subdued the Raikhsharjis there, with guns being distributed amongst the men and even the civilian population now being said to have joined them in this. No response from Blairhaim has been heard.
In Pinij-bei-Morei, the local Raikhsharjis garrison joined combat against the sailors after they began leaving barracks and dispersing. A fight ensued, resulting in the cannon of a ship being used to support the now bloodied seamen against the soldiers. Fighting wages on there, as the Raikhsharjis attempts to prevent the sailors from leaving the city and has declared full martial law for the city and its surrounding districts. Telegrams from the sailors and calls over the radio have declared that they no longer believe the government to be valid, with them stating 'we can not in the rightness of our minds conceive of a service more deplorable than that in which we have been entrapped'. This has been paired with calls to general mutiny against the government.
As of yet, no word on other uprisings, but spontaneous demonstrations and riots have been reported in many districts following the news of the Grimbaldus Pain Trial. The Lahgarden have issued warrants for the arrest of all members of the Dragðjags Vaden and many of the generals of the Raikhsharjis, having issued statements declaring the Constitution of 761↊ in its totality invalid and against the laws and spirit of the Raikh. Charges of treason have been levied against key individuals, including all members of the Supreme Fleet and Army command. The Oburste Flutts en Harjisisleidung has been silent on this matter.
Reports are now coming in of a general rail strike being declared, with train services being suspended for half of the Raikh. It is unknown at this time when services are to resume and the Raikhsharjis has issued no statement on the matter. Missives indicate that the strike has been carried out by different actors and that there is currently no unified leadership amongst the strikers, giving it an uncharacteristically disjointed effect. Many workers have been seen simply walking off, while others are reported as having armed themselves and barricaded themselves in stations and trainyards. Further details to be provided as acquired.

Lost Highway Found in Farmer's Cabbage Patch
Last Tiwsdag a local farmer in the village of Falgdal in Middelfulkskiron woke up to some rare news, that his field had a highway running through it and it had been there since the reign of Hauhkuno Hromlogi. A government worker from the Standan faur Braiðswigenfairkerzsfasthaidus was sent to the field to locate the lost highway and see if it had been deconsecrated or had its warding stones destroyed. Finding that none of these things had taken place, a dispute quickly arose between the government worker and the farmer, resulting in the local guards being summoned to keep the peace as neighbours and family members took to hurling abuse and refuse at the man. Priests arrived shortly after midday and the situation escalated when they began trying to tear down part of the farmer's fences against the advice of both the local guards and the government man, resulting in an altercation and thirteen Schillinge worth of fines being issued to several parties involved. Due to ongoing government restructuring, the S.f.B.F.F. has stated that it will be handling the situation with help from other members of the Afdailjing af Fairkerz, due to the A.a.F. still being considered non-functioning as a whole. Court summons have been issued and the government has made clear that it intends to pay for all work needed to restore the lost highways to their proper functions. An investigation has also been opened, spanning multiple departments and ministries, over how multiple highways were lost. No comment could be attained from the farmer.
