A New Age of Pistols

    In the city center of Bethlehem, a large crowd gathers at an ampitheater. If you can look above the heads of the crowd, you can see a man, with targets facing away from the audience, with a peculiar looking gun in hand. He explains the weapon. "This new gun, from the Boning Corporation, is chambered in .45 ABP, ABP standing for 'Automatic Boning Pistol'. It has unparalleled stopping power for a gun of its type, as well as a great reliability, which I will demonstrate here shortly. After test firing 10,000 rounds through this gun, there was only one problem-- We ran out of bullets. Now, enjoy this show while you can, as immediately after, this gun will be placed in the Bethlehem Firearm Museum, for all your viewing pleasure. Now, should I continue rambling, or let the gun speak for itself?" The crowd erupts into yelling and chanting of "Let the gun speak! Let her speak!" The gentleman, none other than John Moses Boning himself, quickly replies, "Alright, let's get this show on the road." He spins around to face the targets, disabling the safety and cocking the gun, before emptying a bullet, in rapid succession, into each of the targets. Cameras flash, newspaper reporters quickly jot down what they're seeing, and people cheer and look in awe. After a swift reloads, he dumps a magazine into a single target, then repeats the action 6 more times, one for each target after the first. After each magazine is empty, he tosses it into the crowd, a lucky charm and souvenir for whoever catches it. Once he finishes the show, he invites the three Emperors on stage, who each admire the gun before taking their turn shooting, each man praying before emptying his blessed magazine. Even though an hour has passed, it has felt as but a few minutes to all involved. As the show concludes, a group of priests come onstage to bless the gun and send it on its way to the museum. 


    Now, it's over, everyone heads home, chatting about the spectacle they saw, starstruck by this new gun, each wanting one for themselves. Reporters of all creeds and nationalities quickly get to work writing articles, talking about this sensational new firearm -- The Boning M1902 Self-Loading Pistol.
