The Economy had just been through a short recession, and Yerkes was worried for the future. His companies had come through in one piece each, but he had lost much of his fortune keeping it this way. He decided as such to replace each individual company with a single united network of his many railways, unforunately though the Central Sheen Railway had refused his offer of purchase so it would just be the Alliance hall and North Sheen Railway, Northern City Railway, Rivers Underground Railway and the Venerable North Sheen and District Railway.
These railways would become the Alliance Hall Line, the Northern City Line, the Rivers Line and the North Sheen and District Line. Along with his stakes in the many Sheenish Tramways, he decided to form the Sheenish Underground Electric Railways Company Limited, (SUER), which was given the following Logo.
