Hey uh, is this thing on? Oh, oh dear... Good morning, my brothers! Yet another glorious day in the empire of Yehud! I assume everyone is enjoying the festivities. Did Santa leave anyone a brand new Springfield rifle, hmmm? Haha, I know I had a good Christmas! I was able to pick up a new Springfield and a crate of 7.62x54mmR for my M1890! Oh well, on to the news... This morning, December 25, 1902, we have a great announcement! Production of the M1903 Springfield commenced just last week at the St. Nicholas Munitions Plant in Vila Fun Feyer, and Bethlehem Arms, LTD. in Bethlehem. They are being sold, by the pallet, for $500. Individual rifles will run you around $10 from the factory, $15-$20 at retail. In other news, the additions at Port Liberty have finally been completed, with an additional 10 docking areas added to the port, great news for jobless residents of Liberty Beach! This creates around 1,000 new jobs for the city, which should greatly improve the economy! I myself look forward to many new trade routes opening up as a result. Sadly, at 2:03 AM this morning, the Dull War Memorial Dam burst, after heavy rainfall caused it to spill over. The ensuing flood travelled 30 miles downstream, levelling 3 villages, 1 city, and causing damage to the lower parts of Liberty Mountain. The death toll is expected to exceed 1,500 persons. There have already been over $1,000,000 in damages as a result of the flood. Historians are already dubbing this "The Christmas Flood."
