Notable Characters in the Kingdom's History
Magdal Afonsus I
The Kingdom's founding Monarch, Afonsus is widely regarded as one of the most important figures in Magdali History. It is no wonder that several of the Nation's Rulers have since been named Afonsus.
Magdala Maria I
Maria is remembered as "The Warrior" or "The Holy". She had to fight to defend her right to rule the Kingdom, which had devolved into Civil War when her father died. The legends tell that on the night before the final decisive Battle, Thetis Herself appeared to Maria in a dream. Inspired by this, the Magdala gave a rousing speech and rallied her army with religious fervor.
Magdal Pedro IV
Pedro was a reformist. He is known today as "The Absolutist", "The Tyrant", or "The Terrible". He wished to change the Kingdom into an absolute Monarchy. Noticing his moves to seize power, the Pantheon and Government rallied behind his younger brother, Magdal Henrique III. Still, his reign saw heavy reforms in Military doctrine and structure. Henrique used his notes and research to form what today is the RAF.
Admiral JorgeAdmiral Manuel Pinheiro de Gaspar e Jorge was the first Chief of the RAF. He is one of the most important military leaders in the Kingdom's History, and still hold the title of longest tenure as Chief of the RAF. Magdal Afonsus VI
Magdala Isabel's predecessor, Afonsus opened the Kingdom up to foreign trade and launched it into the World Stage. He is by and large regarded as one of the most important Monarchs in recent History. He is known today as "The Great" and "The Diplomat".
