The sea glistened with the midday sun as the SS Bompres cuts through the waves of the Eastern Sea, heading toward the nation of Jollbalistic. The mission, diplomacy between Moderal and Jollbalistic.

"Raise the banners higher, this is the first of our many diplomatic discussions!" Friedrich yells to the men below the balcony who foolishly placed the banners at the wrong height.
"All preparations for this event are fini-including our men's uniforms?" Fredrich questions the man to his left,
"Tailored down to the inch." answers William, Minister of exhibition.
"And how is the machine?" asks Fredrich to the man to his right,
"The water-cooling system is still insufficient for long periods of use, and the welding's on the amour are poor." Luciana replies
Friedrich raises a stern glare at her.
"But yes, it will fire." She corrects.
"Good, I think everyone here understands the gravity of this meeting, project Rinoceronte can't fail.".

The Bompress pulls into it's designated berthing at Jollbalistics port. Orders can be heard shouted every which way attempting to organise the crew and all on board to prepare for the diplomatic talks about to occur, three long boxes are carried off by men wearing a uniform denoting them as belonging to the arms manufacturing and ammunition manufacturing families. Following them is Rodica in her uniform, ready to begin the talks.

"The amenities for this meeting have been set, both Löwe and Rinoceronte are fueled and ready for their demonstration." William reports walking down the hall to the exit of the building.
"Then get the railway operators ready to start, they should be ready within the next 15 minutes to move. Afterwards, meet the rest of the board back at schürt, we'll be conducting the discussion there." Orders Friedrich.
As the two of them split up William hears hears a quiet murmur, "and for all that is right, straighten your tie, we can't afford to look unprofessional" coming from behind.

Rodica continues walking forward to where she was supposed to meet her counterpart to discuss this new alliance. All thing considered she was pretty nervous, never having dealt with something that would have this type of impact before. Sure she had dealt with the elite of every nation before, and get what she wanted out of it. But never something that would change the way her nation worked like this would. The two men next to her looked just as nervous if not moreso. They would be affected more than her, their whole lively hood was in the balance here. She spoke, trying to ease the tension. "I wonder what they have done with the prototype. They mentioned having some idea for it." One of the men replied,"It will certainly be interesting, although I will warn you to stand clear. The prototype didn't have the greatest cooling." Rodica nodded, and continued walking. Talking didn't help.

As Rodica continues to walk towards her destination, she sees an assemblage of people, both military and civilian, with officers lined up in front of the 5 metre tall doors of the schürt building, as the group gets closer, the doors slowly open, revealing a group of men and women. As the opening door slows to a halt, a man, dressed in a black blazer, with high leather boots, a sabre at his side, and a black cloak, walks down the stairway leading up to the doors. "Encantado de conocerla, Ehrengast, welcome to Moderna." Friedrich Wieß greets.  (He's wearing this but without the hat.) |

"Thank you for your gracious greeting and invite." Rodica replies. "Me and my compatriots look forward to observing your innovations made to our technology. I also hope to cement our relationship and ensure the safety of not only our nations but our region."

"Yes, an alliance between our people would be to great benefit." Friedrich replies.
As they walk through the great hall Fredrich starts,
"The rest of the board wishes to meet with you, a great naval power such as your self has much to offer, we simply wish we can bring something of value to you. I hope the prototypes we have developed are to your liking.

Rodica gestures behind her, we would be honoured to meet the rest of the board. Whilst walking along the streets of the city to the destination she continues. “While we are a naval power, our vessels are simply not sturdy enough to take many hits from enemy ships. Our military power is also severely lacking. We are hoping this alliance will take care of both problems.”

"Yes, an alliance would be beneficial to both of us, especially after that treaty you signed, limiting your naval size." Friedrich continues, "Having an ally without such restrictions would be very useful. Us of the board would like to propose that as a part of this alliance, the government of Moderal would have the ability to call upon our military in times of 'Peacekeeping' and war, as well as share all armored vehicle technology, in exchange, we ask to have the ability to request designs for warships and the ability to buy them, as well as ask for some naval assistance, within reason of course."

After some consultation with the men surrounding her Rodica replies. "Yes, that would be beneficial. However there are other things that bind nations together other than the military. I do believe your nation is rich in material wealth, something Moderal is lacking. However, you lack the means to produce things with those materials. That is where we come in. You are also perhaps lacking in experience in your military, and so I propse that our military be based in your country, giving you control of them, within reason of course. Your navy shall be brought over to Moderal where we shall help train your navy. Our factories shall also supply you as long as you provide the materials required. Is this acceptable."

Friedrich and Rodica walk towards a train, with an exterior made of thick, rounded steel painted over with white and black, and an inside made of hard wood. After entering, Friedrich leads Rodica towards a large round table, with four remaining seats out of the 10 in total. Each occupied seat housing a minister.
"The facility is thirty minutes away and only assessable by this train, to keep away from prying eyes, until then, let us continue our discussion, along with the finer details."

"As agreed on by both parties, this agreement allows for the trade of raw materials, food and all munitions, as well as the newly created military vehicles. The agreement also binds both countries to a non-aggression pact between the two. Additionally, the country of Moderal is to have a majority control of three quarters of the combined fleet between Moderal and república dell'ovest, while a quarter of the combined arms of both nations are to be controlled by the la république des terres de l'ouest. Both nations are able to recall their share of navy and military in times of concern, such as defence against a rival nation, provided that both parties have not already agreed to squash the threat together, however in times of war control of the respective branches is to be in the hands of the previously stated parties."
"Are their any addendums that you wish to add?" Friedrich asks Rodica

Both parties hear the rumble of an engine as a box of steel rolls out on wheels, the vehicle has rounded sides, with squares cut out of the sides and slits above those. The front of the vehicle has a even more pronounced curve, reminiscent of an automobile, with it sporting a larger slit. The top of the vehicle has a round open top with a mount for a weapon of some kind. Finally, the back has a small latch, wide enough to fit a person.
"This is the first working prototype, with enough armour to take tens of shots from hundreds of men, it's not perfect, but with the right weapon, such as the one you brought with you, it could take on an entire infantry unit."
